Late season round
Course was in good shape. Recent aeration so a little rough on the greens but they were rolling pretty well considering. Fairways and tees are being maintained with divots filled and tees seeded. Only negative is the bunkers need attention. Could be helped with more rakes and daily smoothing. For a busy County course they are doing a good job
October golf
Aerated greens were a bummer, but the course was in great shape and pace was phenomenal, 18 holes in 3 hours, a great day

Poppy
Played there about 20 years ago. Wasn’t nearly as nice as it is today. They have definitely stepped up their game. Greens were rolling really well and fast and overall conditions were excellent.
Rude staff and terrible conditions
Got kicked off just before the 18th hole by some kid telling us the back 9 was closed for the last 2-3 hours. This was news to me and the guys I was playing with because no one ever told us that and there were no signs telling us the back 9 was closed. Attitudes from every staff member and no refund. Conditions are always terrible as well. Never going back.
Last Minute choice
We were in Queeens for a business outing and had a free morning to play golf. We found Bergen Point on Golf Now and decided to play there. This course was laid out nicely and very competitive. Greens were very fast and difficult for me as I am used to Florida greens. All in all it was a good municipal course. The only shame is that players do not fix their ball marks and they do not rake the traps. I would still like to play this course again and would recommend others to play it.
