Great Option in Westchester
First time playing at Maple Moor. The conditions are great, and I cant believe they shoved an 18 hole course on the plot of land they have. People are nice, but groups can be very slow, but that is expected at public courses. Overall good experience.
The Ranger Doesn’t Play Fair
I’ve played Maple Moor a few times but this particular time I played we were told to come in because it was after 8 pm. We had two or three holes left to finish out 18 and we weren’t able to play them. However, there were about three or four groups behind us that were able to finish 18 holes. When we asked the ranger why the groups behind us were able to finish and that we were told to come in he had no answer. He just brushed us off and drove off. It’s a beautiful course and well kept but that particular night the staff were busting our chops but no one else’s. I don’t think it’s right when you pay for 18 holes and you aren’t allowed to finish but the groups behind you have absolutely nothing said to them and are allowed to enjoy a full 18 holes. I will not be playing at Maple Moor again.

The greens and the Tee Boxes were in very good shape . The fairways were beat up

Terrible Pace Of Play/Staff
We played at Maple Moor for an early afternoon round on Sunday and it was the slowest round I’ve ever played. We walked off the course after a 3 hour front 9. Terrible pace of play and no ranger. Avoid like the plague.

Average course
It’s just 6-7 minutes from my home and convenient. The course condition is so so, and worth for the price.
Maple Moor
The pace of play was slow from the 1st tee, as I teed off almost 10 minutes past my assigned time. I played with older folks, so a slow round was expected. In total, it took nearly 5 hours. What helped is that the group in front only played 9-holes. For $67, it wasn't terrible as I'm used to paying higher prices in CA. From what I read, it'll seems high according to what locals wrote. As far as conditions, they were good, but greens were slow. Overall, I would play it again.
