Fun Day
Played this course today -- one time visit -- very well conditioned. Challenging and great staff. Especially Dan the pro and Connor the young man working this summer.
I really enjoyed it -- very pretty course. Good options on tees to use.
Nia. Frontier
Course. Was in excellent condition, as always. Staff, on the other hand, was totally disrespectful and obnoxious. Sorry to hear that contract with Golf Now is being terminated.
Great Course
The course was in great shape, staff were friendly and would return in a heart beat
NIA FRONTIER IS AN EXPERIENCE!
Excellent deal, beautiful course. Since this is a member course, you did not receive a hole by hole playbook. There were a number of shots you want back. Greens were as good as I ever played. Very hilly and lots of trees. Leafs on ground made things extra difficult.
Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful Course!
Absolutely beautiful course, staff and members we ran into could not have been friendlier. If I lived in the area this is where I would want to belong.
excellant shape
being a non member of this semi private club we weren't allowed any of the amenities such as the 19th hole but the course was in great shape. I would definitely golf there again for the right price on Golfnow.
Loved the course
What an outstanding course. Played for the first time and heard a lot of great things regarding the course. Was not disappointed. The course is very well kept. Everything was green. Some challenging holes. Driver needs to be straight or you will waste shots chipping out. I will definitely be going back. Experience on how far to hit the tee shot and placement of the 2nd shot on the Par 5's will help. White tees played. Par 4's are mostly 380 - 400 yards. Members were very nice, something I did not expect. Easy drive across Queenston - Lewiston bridge.
Undiscovered Treasure!
Had driven by this private course on our way to Niagara Falls a number of times but had no idea what a great course it is. Quite a test of your game with plenty of length from the white tees on the par fours and fives, with many changes in elevation to make you think. The course was in great condition, especially the fairways and greens, with the greens rolling quick. Will definitely play this course more in the future if they continue to make it available to the public.
Finally got a chance to play here, GLAD I did
Course was in great shape. Smooth fast greens, lush fairways and level tee boxes. If you get a chance to play there, don't miss a nice course.
Glad I found this one on GOLFNOW!!!
This course located in historic Youngstown is a gem!!!
The greens - lush, receptive yet deceivingly fast with many hard to read breaks. They were very true. Openings were tough especially if you were trying for the green in two on some of the par 5's.
Sand - Surprisingly, didn't land one sand trap, but they looked soft and well maintained.
Fairways - Amazing. Blind pins, contouring, challenging! The condition was lush. You could really go after the ball on these fairways. Not cement like some of the other courses I have reviewed! Great scenery and some cool forced carries.
Walking this course could be tough.
The facilities were a little tired, but hey we were here to play golf. Not a big deal.
The cartgirl - we played early so she wasn't out for much of our round. Very friendly. Gotta love the USA, unlike the stupid province of Ontario, we were able to order beers ($4 each) at 10:30am.
The people - what can I say... salt of the earth. Friendly and accommodating.
Food - we didn't eat, but from what I saw as walked through the restaurant, looked great.
I've always loved this part of New York state and now I have one more reason to feel that way!!! Playing here again next week!!!!
Beautiful course
A bunch of hidden tee shots on this course make it very challenging it leaves u guessing where the greens are if you have never played here before & with just playing this course twice leaves me wanting to come play many more rounds - excellent course!!
Unbelievable
Been playing this course as much as I can the past two years. The rolling hills and blind shots make for some fun but challenging golf. Used to think courses like Ivy Ridge were the best in the area but this one took the cake easily after playing
Phenomenal Greens!
Course was in amazing condition. Greens were smooth and fast. The rough was deep slowing play slightly, but it was still a lot of fun. Will definitely play there again!
Beautiful and Challenging
This course is pristine. It was fun to play this private course where my Dad shot a hole-in-one when I was a kid. Thanks Golf Now and NFCC. Only 35 mins. from Buffalo and totally worth it. Be ready for some challenging holes...
A Special Place
This course really surprised me. It is a wonderful course: Classic design, great condition, competent staff, no-charge practice range, and a great grill (you gotta have the Beef on Weck! The course is lush, fairways solid and greens fast and true. This would be a great golf deal at double the price!!!
Frontier is Great
Great golf course and excellent value. Situated close to the shore of lake ontario so dress warm in the spring.
Raining
Played this course two days in a row after torrential downpours still in great shape. Greens of course receptive BUT still putting true & fast! Golfing again here soon!! Played in morning & looking to play fast. No hold ups both days!!!!! FYI stimp 10 while really wet!!
Great value
Very picturesque and great condition. Really enjoyed the course and the third guy was a jjoy to play with.
