D'Andrea Golf Club near Reno, Nevada

D'Andrea Golf Club is a semi-private golf course in Sparks, Nevada, just minutes from downtown Reno.

The 18-hole golf course opened in 2000 and was designed by Keith Foster, who built a course that winds up and down desert hillsides. The front nine is still mostly void of real estate (though that should change in coming years), while the back nine plays mostly on lower ground and within existing residential properties.

D'Andrea Golf Club has a great deal of topographical variance, and holes play uphill and downhill, in some cases severely. This is reflected in the greens, which are fast and very sloping.

It's best to stay below the hole at all costs, which can be easier said than done. The par-71 course plays just less than 6,900 yards from the back tees, though there are four sets total. D'Andrea Golf Club features a driving range and practice area, as well as banquet and dining room facilities for larger groups.
