Located in Bermuda's upscale Tucker's Town is Rosewood Tucker's Point, a luxury club and resort overlooking the ocean.
The resort's 18-hole golf course, which plays next door to the prestigious Mid Ocean Club, was originally a 1930s design by Charles Banks named Castle Harbour. It was redesigned and enhanced by Roger Rulewich in 2002.
Rulewich's upgrades included five new holes, new bunkers, resculpted fairways and the installation of smooth, TifEagle greens. The scenic, rolling layout stretches to a par 70 over 6,491 yards from the back tees, making it one of a handful of full-length, 18-hole golf courses in Bermuda.
Many of the most scenic holes come on the back nine, including seaside holes at the 11th and 17th. The 17th, a drivable par 4 that plays 313 yards from an elevated tee to an elevated green, makes for an exciting birdie opportunity before the course culminates with the difficult, uphill 18th.
The club features an excellent clubhouse with a bar and restaurant as well as a driving range and practice greens. Rosewood Tucker's Point, an 88-room luxury resort, also has a beach club, tennis, spa and fine dining.
