Hotel Casa Velas and Velas Vallarta

We all enjoyed the experience. Course was a little dry but greens were good.

We got out before our tee-time and pretty well had the course to ourselves until #11. Took a bit of time snapping some photos of a few impressive salt water crocodiles!

Had fun The course was a little tougher than I remembered. Forgot about call the water and traps. We were done in a little more than 4 hours

The layout was fun but challenging. Ocean breeze was a plus. Greens decent . Would play again .

I walked about 0.8 miles to get to the course from my hotel with my clubs. I was wearing a mok turtle neck collarless shirt that I had been given at a Fed Ex cup promotional event years ago com[;ete with the Fed Ex cup logo on the chest!. Fortunately I got there about 50 minutes early.

When I went to check in I was told I needed to be wearing a collared shirt. So I had had to make anotherround trip 1.6 mile walk back to my hotel to geta a collared shirt. It was not a pleasant experience!!!

Perhaps this golf course needs to learn it is now the 21st century, not the 19th!!!!

Course was terrific . Beautiful vistas . Fair if you play from the proper tee box . Well maintained .

I have golfed here many times over the last 25 years. I have never seen it so dry. I miss the crocodiles. The greens are crusty dry, which makes them slow. But, they are true. I will golf here again. The course is just a victim of Mother Nature! The staff are quite friendly & helpful!
