Vidanta Nuevo Nayarit-Vallarta

The course itself is pretty and the conditions of the course are good. But when we initially booked, we were booking for 18 holes only to learn it’s only 10 holes. The holes are themselves very very short. Can’t even even considered a real par three course. The cost to play this was way too expensive, this should be a 10 or $15 course for maybe kids to play on or learn. In addition, the staff were anything but friendly. We did not stay at the hotel. We just wanted to use the golf course and they would not allow us to use their Wi-Fi to call an Uber.

Really a waste of our time and money

Very fun course to play. It was in excellent condition. Played in 4 hours. Perfect day.

Good course but very poorly routed. It would be just about impossible to get around the course without a caddie.

I think it is an interesting play as the layout and grass changes fron front to back. The back nine was fun, fast and tight. The front had some great holes but the amount of driving around between some holes is close to ridiculous. Anyways, the caddies made it an enjoyable ride.

Can't stress how much fun I had on course with the caddies, both on this course and the Norman coures. My experience will be different than most because I played solo and had my own caddie but it was blast and I am looking forward to coming back

Played both the Norman and Nicklaus courses, at Vidanta recently. Both are in great shape. Norman is a little sandy but that is to be expected as they prepare for their PGA event in February, but it played fantastic. I played afternoon rounds, by myself, taking advantage of the Golf Now, Hot Deal pricing. Rounds with their caddies were a blast. Played fast relaxing golf with lots of good banter and some great tips as well. The absolute high point of my trip.

The course is PGA tour quality conditions. My caddie, Pollo, is amazing. I highly recommend this course.

It’s my first time in Puerto Vallarta and it’s my first time at this course. All the steps were just great. It was not easy to get around But no worries carries took care of us perfectly.

Complaints? Most of the greens were covered by sand. Putting is my forte, but it was not easy to put out in 2 putts. I understand that Green has to be kept perfect condition for the coming Mexico open visiting a golf course just before the big main game we always have to suffer something. Otherwise, everything was just perfect.

If you’re average golfer then you should shoot low eighties,I like this course if you staying at vidanta and if you’re not then play vista Vallarta it’s very challenging if you like to play tough courses

Lots of fun and generous layout . Cart girl a bit pricey . Friendly staff . Over all good experience

Terrific experience playing this nice Greg Norman championship course. My caddie, Hugo, was especially excellent. The entire experience was too-notch. Great discounted rate through GolfNow.

Played holes 6 thru 18 with 3 groups on each hole. Course has a great layout and was in excellent shape.

Course was in great condition, greens were very fast. Cons - Mandatory Caddy, course layout.

Drove to usual check in point but told it had changed (without road markings) and was back near the entrance, time wasted. Parked car 10 minute walk away, time wasted. Waited for cart to take us to pro shop, time wasted. Waited for cart to practice range, time wasted. No markings showing how to go from hole to hole. You absolutely must have a caddie. Drive from one of the holes to the next took 7 minutes, time wasted. Finished game, waited for cart to take us back to new checkin point then took 10 minutes to drive there in cart, time wasted. Got out of cart with clubs and walked to parking, 10 minutes, more time wasted. Crazy layout and organization. They need professional help!! Super frustrating and a LOT OF TIME WASTED.

Had lots of fun playing these two Vidanta courses. The Nayar course was shorter but challenging. Thoroughly enjoyed playing it. My forecaddy was helpful.
