The third, a dogleg left of 376, typifies most of the holes on this course: not long, but challenging in other ways. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Seven ( # 3 index) seems like one of the best par-4’s in Connecticut. This photo doesn’t reveal just how tough it is to make a par here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Eleven is another great hole, its protected green seen here in the shadows. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

This sprawling bunker flanking the right side of hole 11 is typical of the challenges abounding on these eighteen. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/22/2020

The fourteenth green, at 560 yards, will take two Herculean shots to reach in two, but anything less may find its way into the small brook before it. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/22/2020

Fun Track
The greens were perfect and very fast. I was getting a really true roll. $16th green was very difficult. The course layout is excellent. The course conditions were average. One hole was under construction. I did not know until I got to the back 9 and saw the construction.
Great course
I really like this course. Only one hole is obnoxious - a par 3 with the hole 60' above the tee box. Most holes are great. The greens are challenging but fair (and in great shape!)
It was a great day of golf!
Norwich CC
The greens were perfect. fast and smooth. The overall conditions of the course was average. This is a good layout - fun track. There is one hole under construction. I did not know until I was on the course. I went there because there was no golf open in Massachusetts. I played Norwich about 15-20 years ago and the conditions were better then.
First Round of Year
Staff was very friendly, one person in shop at time. Person cleaning carts when round over. The course was doing all they could do with what is going on, which was good to see. As for the course it was in good shape. The greens had just been punched, small holes so as for the putting it wasn’t bad they still rolled nice. Not to long, but fun course. Will play again.
Very nice course! Nice, fun layout!
Course was in fine shape. A fun layout. Very playable. Would definitely recommend!
Great Course, Friendly Staff, Clean Carts
We Love Norwich, the pace of play is always good, the course for early season is in great shape. Challenging and fun, plus they are taking Covid-19 seriously and doing all the right things, separate carts, sanitizing carts in between players and other players are respectful of social distancing as well. Plus, every time we play Norwich, the staff is super friendly and accommodating and are happy to have us even if we are through golf now. Thank you to everyone making it possible to play. We will definitely be back!
Great Greens
Course was in great shape for mid April. Greens were spectacular and fast.
15th hole is closed (under construction) but not a big deal.
Challenging!!!
Tees, greens and fairways are fantastic, even in early April! Wish they had more porta-potties for the ladies on the course! At least ONE on the back 9!!!
Good value. Good greens
The greens have to be the highlight at Norwich Golf Club. The were fast and smooth and challenging. Not a long course. The 15th is under construction and not being played. For the price I paid it was a good deal.
16 1/2 Holes
The course is currently doing some major construction on the 15th hole. It is closed until the work is complete, Hole 10 & 11 are compromised because they significantly moved up the tee box. Other parts of the course are dug up as they fix their water system. It was annoying that I paid that much with these conditions affecting play. I will not be back until they are done.
Late fall round
As usual Norwich was in good condition....especially for this time of year. Greens rolling quite true...fairways in good condition. The temp was cool it is November but it's still good to be getting out.
Tough course. Greens are always well kept and roll pretty true. Always a challenge playing here. Pace of is usually slower than Id like but thats the only downside I can think of. Would recommend to come play
Best Municipal course I have played
This course is in excellent condition great deal on golfnow tough greens, good shots are rewarded beware the dreaded 3 putts. Will definitely return friendly staff.
