The third, a dogleg left of 376, typifies most of the holes on this course: not long, but challenging in other ways. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Seven ( # 3 index) seems like one of the best par-4’s in Connecticut. This photo doesn’t reveal just how tough it is to make a par here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Nice Day at Norwich Golf Course
Found a great last minute deal through GolfNow, so my husband and I headed to Norwich for 18 holes. The starter got us right out and we never waited on any hole. The course was in great shape and the greens were very forgiving. We found the course to be longer than most we have played. I would recommend the course.
Good Municipal Course
Overall for this time of year the course was in good shape. Greens were a bit scruffy (possibly because of overseeding as most courses do this year) but they putted true... just slower than normal. Couple holes had brown spots, but it was a harsh winter! Course is short, but for the normal golfer it is ideal.
Beautiful course
It was worth the $30 I paid but the pace was so slow I had to skip the last three holes. We actually had a six person group in front of us and it ruined the pace
Diamond in the Fall
Played this course with my son for the first time. Will definitely be back for sure. Course was in excellent shape for late October. Greens were mint, very few ball marks, a plus for a public course. Course was not very crowded even though it upper 60's and sunny. Able to play 18 in 3 hrs and 15 minutes. Favorite part was the amount of elevated tee boxes allowing you to grip it and rip made for a very enjoyable round. Hope to be back before the end of the season.
Grip
Good corse
Staff always good. course has some great holes will play there again
Great Municipal course
Course is always in great shape, staff is very professional, food is good too.
Friendly Staff
When we arrived we were ready to play. The starter was able to let us "Load n Go" we had a foursome in front of us that we caught up with early. This slowed us down considering we were a 2some and they never offered to let us play thru. However we decided to pair up on 10 with a couple of great guys.
Nice course
Nice variety, good views, good condition, fun course
nice place
course conditions great wonderful staff and weather had a great day.
Decent public course
Overall good experience. Play was slow a twosome was holding up play on the front nine but left the course after the 10th hole. Was looking for a ranger to help but none was in sight. Again what you may expect at times on a public course. But if I was paying full boat $60+ I would not be pleased
Nice condition and fun layout
Course was in nice shape, especially the greens. Medium green speed... Always a fun course to play.
Completely Happy
Staff was super nice. Course was in great shape. Some burned fairways on the back 9 but we have had a dry summer. Tee boxes and greens were perfect. Great round. Wish it was cheaper but it was a decent price.
Great value, interesting layout
Played this course for 1st time. Perfect day for golf (80, mostly sunny, light winds). Paired up with a local member who was very helpful at describing features of each hole; a couple of approaches played longer than yardage. First of all, greens were in fantastic condition. They are very undulating, but true. Also, landing areas off tees are very generous. Water and bunkers off tee are not an issue. Lots of elevation changes and doglegs. Pace of play was excellent, and staff was all very friendly. Will play this one again.
great condition and greens
The course was in great condition. Don't go out of the gateways you might not find your ball.
Good course, fun to play
Overall the course is well maintained and a fun course to play. There is one very short par-3, up-hill, that is like 105 yards, that is not a good par 3. Besides that the other 17 holes are challenging for all skill levels.
We'll kept
Nice course short par 4s but many elevated greens that are difficult to hold & putt .you will enjoy
This course is well-designed and maintained.
The fairways and greens are really great maintained. The condition of the entire holes are very good.
Good Value
Good Value for $48. Looking forward to playing again.
Norwich is a beautiful course
I enjoy playing Norwich. It's a long course, but worth the time you'll spend out there.
Great Track
Best course for the $ in Southern Connecticut. ...hands down the best value we found in some time! Very nice track....good greens and fairways...couldn't believe it was a muni-
I meant to put down very good for the pace of play not fair. Did 18 in around 3 hrs and 15 mins.
