Not up too Troon Quality
2:36 tee time.
Divot sand bottles empty on cart
Cooler had no ice.
Many tee boxes had wood tee markers in lieu of the bear logo.
No ball cleaners on course.
Fun course, friendly staff
Played the course right after a big rain. It was wet but drained well, and the overall conditions were excellent. It was relatively easy from the white tees. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, getting us out even though our tee time had technically been cancelled. Would certainly return!
Great course and staff
We played on a very wet day. The course was closed during the morning rain but reopened at noon so we lost out 11:54 tee time. Staff was very accommodating getting back out. Fairways and greens drained well, some water in traps, but everything was very playable and in excellent condition.
Nice course. Undiscounted rates much too high. Pace of play was fine on front nine. Mich too slow on back.
Challenging and Long
A beautifully maintained course that is long and challenging. Offers something for long ball hitters and those with precision.
An Enjoyable Course
This is a challenging but fair course, in great shape. Although the pace of play was slower than I would have liked, it was all in all an enjoyable experience.
Great experience
Conditions are great, practice facilities are great, greens run true, however the greens are slow and very soft. So good for most skill levels but not ideal for better players.
Staff Friendliness
I couldn’t be any more pleased with the staff and how nice they were. As a single golfer, I never expect to be given priority nor different treatment than a 2,3 of 4 some. The staff offered to pair me up with other groups. They went as far as asking a large golf trip group if it was ok that I joined one of their groups of 3. The snack shop gal was phenomenal! I would come back here if I ever found myself in the area!
Fun Course!
Second time playing there and unfortunately did not get to play Grizzly :(. However, the Kodiak / Black Bear was just as nice as the first time. Had a bunch of rain the day before and it was cart path only and it made out for a longer round. I get it though! I’ll definitely be back as long as TeeOff provides great rates and MORE options PLEASE. As these local courses start to penalize locals change and increase rates so it’s unaffordable TeeOff is the ONLY way I’ll get to play them.
