not Bear bones!
real nice 27holes. Plenty of challenge for everyone. Play the back tees and buckle up. Play the whites and have fun. two boxes in between. something for everyone.
Great course but...
The course is beautiful and well maintained but the range was very beat up and there was no beverage cart service ( I assume this is because it's early in season but they should let players know)
Bear Trap Dunes
Great course. Always enjoy playing it. No trick shots needed!
Very good but tight.
Stupid windy day. Course was very good condition. Just tough to keep it in the fairway with 30 mph crosswinds. Really nice place tho. All around. I'll be back. Without the wind.
great course
course was in very good condition, greens were also very good. staff was very helpful. just doesn't get much better.
Bear Trap Golf
This course was in great shape and was a great value
Nice place to play when in the Bethany Beach Delaware or Ocean City Maryland area.
Nice layouts. 3 nines help create variety if you want to play Bear Trap more than once. I live in the area and play here often. Staff is helpful and friendly. Practice area is top notch. Courses are laid out such that you feel as if you are the only golfers on the course. Course is very well taken care of.
Great 27 holes
Awesome track by the beach! Troon management gives you a good bang for the buck! Great challenging conditions too!
Best course in DE
I play here as often as I can; in my opinion the best course in the State (DE).
Beautiful course and very well maintained
Bear Trap Dunes is one of my most favorite courses in the area. The 3 nine hole layouts are extremely well designed and scenic. The staff is friendly and the courses are well maintained.
This course is in great overall shape. The greens, fairways, and rough are in super condition which made for a very enjoyable round.
We played the Kodiak and Black Bear courses and they made for a fun day. We had the course almost to ourselves so we could play at our pace with no wait and no one pushing us. The greens, fairways and rough we're excellently maintained, but the sand traps need some attention, so try to avoid them. The course is scenic and has some beautiful views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great experience and we plan to return.
The course was in great shape. It hardly felt like a November day.
Greens were a little fast but the overall condition of the the course was excellent. Using GolfNow.com provided an excellent value and a very enjoyable afternoon of golf.
Good course with the reduced rate
The course is well maintained and I enjoy playing there. Great clubhouse and restaurant also.
Breezy but beautiful
My wife and I decided we wanted to play golf on Sunday morning so I checked tee times on GolfNow.com. We got a great deal for early afternoon. The course was in good shape with fast greens. We played in under 3.5 hours. The wind was blowing, but it was a wonderful sunny day we couldn't pass up.
Excellent condition. Fast true greens.
Excellent condition. Fast true greens. Fairways are in fantastic shape as well.
Loved the course. Will play again.
Great 27 holes. Well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. Off the tee and from the fairway not a difficult course. The fun begins around the greens which were fast and had a lot of break.
Will not return - not a good value.
I played this course in early Sept. of 2013 for the first time. I had just played two other golf courses in the area prior to playing Bear Trap (plyed Baywood and Bay Side). The course was not even close to being in the same kind of condition as the other two courses or other courses that I played during the week. The greens were spiked up and there were "dirt patches" on certain parts of hte fairway.
My biggest compliant though would be that of the staff - in particular the guys that get your clubs and set you up with a cart. They were very rude and not pleasant at all. When we returned our cart after finishing we were actually yelled at for not parking it in the proper place (there are no signs to tell you were to park). No way will I return or would recommend this course to anyone.
Very nice golf course
Nice track with a nice staff. One of my favorite courses at the beach.
Only played nine holes on Grizzly course
Not a lot of difficulties here, minimal water and other hazards, fair bunkers, reasonable fairways/rough, challenging greens. Overall worth a visit, will do again
Aerated Greens allowed us to afford to play the course!
Bear Trap is too expensive and more than we are willing to pay to golf. We were fortunate to get such a great value this time because the greens had been aerated. Love the course. Wish it wasn't so pricey and we would play it all the time. Beach house is 2 minutes from the course and we drive to Ocean City to play all the time for more affordable courses.
