Great value through GolfNow
Very enjoyable round. Course was in excellent shape.
great layout
course was in perfect condition. Play was slow at times
Great for Midweek Play
Well maintained course with attentive staff, except on the course. We played mid-week and got an outstanding price from the HOT Deals. We expected the pace of play to be quick, as we were a two-some playing behind another two-some. However, they were behind a very slow four-some. We were waiting at every hole. Our front nine took 2.5 hours. At the turn, the two-some in front of us jumped ahead of the four-some. Then we skipped hole #13 and went ahead of that group. From there it was easy to finish the back nine in under 2 hours. Unfortunately, the pace of play made the golf experience less then good.
I would still recommend the course, but the pace of play needs to be monitored.
Nice open track with some challenges
Pretty well maintained course although today it was suffering from some recent heavy rains and bunkers were very poor.
Greens were good and speedy .
Pace of play was good and got paired up with Phillip( local) who was very friendly and improved our enjoyment of the course.
The staff was very nice.
Would play again if the price is right.
slightly above average course needing better maintenance.
Not a destination. I happened to be doing triathlon nearby and wanted to fill in the day. I am single digit handicap who travels locally to daily fee courses. Not in the best condition, too many houses visible, certainly not a stonehoue/royal new kent /bulle rock. With golfnow prices so competitive this should have been less expensive to get bang for the buck. If you are stuck at the shore its going to fit your occasional golf needs, but no one with insight is going to travel here more than twenty minutes to play it.
Great shape in Oct
Courses and people were fantanstic
Played form the white tee which was a mistake, should have played from the blues which would have made the course harder.
Resort course
Good resort course, Keep it in the fairway and you will score good.
Greens were not cut at 12:00 pm...shaggy
The golf course was ok..compared to others in the area...The greens were airated and we were not told..this is a pet peeve...The pace of play was ok and the fairways and green were ok..
This is a great deal on Hot deals
Fast greens in good condition. Still had a couple of marks from airation. fairways were beautiful. We didn't score well, but we are going back.
Failure To Clean Up Following Flooding . .
I booked this course on the recommendation of the staff at a local golf shop vs. another course, unfortunately the Golf Course greenskeepers had done very little to get the course cleaned up after a few days of inclement weather. Evidence of flooding was everywhere and not cleaned up despite being at the course 4 days following the heavy rain . . flooded bunkers and or approach areas were left in poor shape.
The other BIG issue for this course was the lack of the course staff (rangers) to monitor groups slowing down the pace of play. My foursome was stuck behind a VERY POOR group of golfers who continually caused us to wait . . front 9 holes took 2:15 Hrs to play and there was no 'pace of play' course officials in sight the entire time.
I will not return and will be brutally honest when asked about the course; one player in our foursome was a member of the club and indicated this was the 'norm'. Other foursomes were seen complaining at the turn to the back nine and my group requested relief by playing another portion of the course for the 2nd/back nine holes.
