Course is in very good shape. Only bit of advice that I could give is to put some water on the greens. They are very firm and a bit on the grainy side for my taste.
Plantation point
Great course for the money. Greens are what set this course apart from the other area courses
Good once again
Played the course for the second time this season;this time the fairways weren’t dormant. Love the layout and the course offers challenges for all levels.
Fairways were just a bit hairy but in really good condition. Greens were fast and tee boxes were in great shape.
Playing on a very windy day like we did makes this course all you want from a length standpoint.
My only issue is I wish they offered more as far as pro sho, clubhouse and restaurant go but I will still be back. Excellent value with a GolfNow tee time.
got rained out gonna wait and see id golf now gives credit for getting rained out?
Monday opening, great choice!
This course is in good shape and provides a wide open course layout for a very enjoyable round of golf. Next time you want to get in a good round, consider the Plantation course. You can't go wrong.
Great!
Love this course and the young man working the pro shop, Donye is his name if I’m not wrong, was nothing but great to us! Good time!
Return to a favorite
I play this course whenever I’m at the lake. Have played here for years. Not uncommon to see 6 players in a group. Hardly a Marshall in sight. Travel destination so a little tee time attention would go a long way. Still a favorite
Nice greens
Enjoyed the course. The greens are smaller than average but were in great shape. Overall layout is good. Bunkers were also in great shape.
No thanks!
Beautiful day for a round of golf. The only thing that could ruin it would be slow play, and that's what happened. The clubhouse allowed fivesomes, and they were on a blistering 5-6 hour pace of play. Playing thru simply put me in the midst of the same, so I tapped out at the turn. There wasn't a staff person in sight on the course to assist the slow play. I probably won't go back. If you have all day, enjoy. If not, look elsewhere.
Nice course
Great value for the money. Course is in good condition, little wet from all the rain. Greens are nice.
Great
Course was beautiful. Immaculate greens, some of the best I’ve ever played on. A nice open layout, doesn’t punish good misses. Some standing water on some holes, but understandable for all the rain we’ve had. Can’t ask for anything more from a public course, can’t wait to play the Lake Course!
Nice Course
The course is quite open and was a good change for my struggling game. We played the course and had the best.acore of the year even with a few holes I messed up on. The greens were as good as any I’ve played on all year. They were in great shape. I look forward to playing the course again.
Excellent golf outing
This is my first time playing the Lake Course at Goose Pond and it was a delightful experience.
The course is well laid out with some challenging holes. Lots of water and tough pin placements.
The course was in great condition considering all the rain we’ve had. Steven in the Pro Shop is an asset to the experience. Will certainly return!
Great Golf
This course is in excellent shape considering the rain we have had. Holes 1 and 2 are a little soggy but rest of course is fine. Greens in great shape for this early in year. Fairways coming in nice.
