Great experience
Excellent time and lots of fun!
Greens were recently aerated so the usual was to be expected, however the fairways were great and it was a joy to play!
Beautiful course
I showed up at the course on Saturday afternoon, the weather was beautiful and I was ready to tee off, but they could not find my reservation. After some checking, they found that I had (accidently) booked my round for Sunday, not Saturday. I was devastated. The staff at Goose Pond (Lake Course) could not have been more helpful. I explained that I had driven 60 miles to play this course for the first time. They spoke with a 'Golf Now' rep (Jack) and explained what had happened. Jack was kind enough to credit my account back, and the Goose Pond staff permitted us to go ahead and play! They also gave us the "twilight rate". Many thanks to Goose Pond staff and Jack at Golf Now for turning a potentially bad day into a great one. Oh by the way, the course was fantastic!! I will be back.
Off The Beaten Path
Worth the drive. Fun course to play. Excellent fairways and greens. I hate to give it such a great review 'cuz I don't want it to get so busy, but I'm letting it out. Staff extremely friendly. Try it, you'll love it.
course in beautiful shape...well worth the $20 i paid on golfnow.com...will be playing there lots more here...
Surpasses Expectations
Played this course early Saturday morning and got a good deal on GolfNow. Course was in great shape, had good variety of hole layouts, and played quickly. Will definitely play it again.
Wide and challenging
The only thing the corse needs is range finders on the carts. Thanks for the golf now app. for having that feature. The course is in excellent shape. Hit out of 1 sand trap. Found the sand to be maybe a inch deep. Oops. Could be just a isolated condition. I would recommend and will play there again.
Goose Pond Review
Course layout was very well planned, well maintained and the staff in the pro shop was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived about an hour early and were told to go ahead and go to the first tee and play.
Good Round
I always enjoy a round at Plantation. Great place with great folks!
Beautiful course with outstanding views of the surrounding lake from almost every hole on the course. I played in the afternoon and the course was not crowded so I finished in around3 hours. The fairways and greens were fully in grass but the greens were firm and incoming shots hardly made a dent. However, the greens were smooth and putted very well.
I really have no complaints and try to play there at least once a week. It is my favorite course for the buck.
Great value. Nice greens.
Due to not being on the lake, this of the 2 Goosepond courses may seem less attractive on paper but when played it shines. The greens are great. There is no lack of good grass on this course tee to green. Zero bare spots. The course is challenging from back tees and playable for novice from the short tees. Always a joy to play
This is a challenging course if played from the right tees. Lots of trouble if you get wild off the tees, greens were in great shape and the course was right out in front of you. Light breeze made you think about what you needed to do. Overall, I would go back again.
Golf Outing
Good course with straight forward holes. Enjoyed the day.
Great value for the money
Overall the course was in great shape. However, the greens were a little fast and firm. Was able to book a Hot Deal a few hours before my 8:20 a.m. tee time. I played alone and finished the round in about 3.5 hours. The round cost was just under $20 including tax and fees.
Really fun course to play!
This course is always well kept. Greens are soft and roll nicely. Pretty wide open, but plenty of bunkers and water on several holes. Could have more food options.
Love This Course
Give it a chance. Worth the drive. Had a great round with my husband.
