Goose Pond Colony Resort

This is Nice course, very fast greens shot my career best here .

The greens and fairways were in great shape. This course will challenge your game yet it is fun to play. I had played the course in the spring and put it on the list of favorite courses to play in the area.

This course has plenty of elevation, dog legs, sand, and water to keep you on your toes. The course was in great shape, fairways and greens well kept. I travel to Guntersville for a week in spring and a week in fall, this course is always on the list.

Awesome day at Goose Pond Plantation!

Two of us played 18 holes is under 3 hours! The greens are some of the best in north/central Alabama!

Tucked in the hills you will find a hidden gem. I had played Goose Pond Lake course six months ago and thought that I had made a tee time for that course. Upon arrival at the lake course I found that the lake course was closed for a tournament and I had made a tee time for the Plantation course. We were greeted by a very nice young lady at the pro shop. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The staff we met on the course great. A fun course to play with water, sand, and design to make the round a challenge but fun. The views are awesome, the course is in a valley surrounded by mountains and the trees are changing colors, Beautiful!

If you get confident striking the ball well, you are going to enjoy scoring. The greens are relatively small, so any green in regulation will give you a scoring opportunity. The greens roll pure. They have plenty of break and speed. Read them correctly and the ball finds the cup.

If you play well, you will be rewarded with a beautiful scorecard.

Great course for the cost and met some other golf now buddies will play again soon

Course is average. It was very dry and the greens were very grainy. Sand traps all needed work. The hot deal rate of $30.99 was too high in my opinion. The rack rate at this course is $50.00 which is utterly ridiculous. This course should be $40.00 at the most.

Played 15 Sep. Course is in great condition. Friendly pro shop attendant let me off an hour before my tee time ( played Plantation course earlier in the morning). Greens still need more time to soften but roll true even with recent aerating. Will definitely return. Kudos to the young lady in the pro shop who got me on the course early.

Played 15 Sep. Pro shop let me off before my scheduled tee time which was awesome. Course in good shape. Drains well even as it was raining when I played. Greens in great shape. Will definitely return.

Is my $25?discount now lost as it was part of credit and not really used.

Wonderful course to play for all handicaps I’m sure if you never played it you will find it challenging.

Fairways and particularly greens were in excellent condition.

Course was in great shape, pace of play was excellent.

Caught a great deal on GN, haven’t played here in years but thoroughly enjoyed our round. Course is in great shape from tee to green. Will definitely put this back into my rotation of courses to play. If you haven’t played here in awhile I encourage you to do so. Pace of play was great as well
