Reviews
Great staff
Derek and Dave made the day fun when it wasn’t a good round on my part
Don’t expect to be on time
Horrible time management. Sprinklers going off mid round. Staff didn’t care. Zero water available besides one drinking fountain inside the hallway. Won’t be back unless it’s free.
Friendly staff
Dave brought our cart right out to the cart drop and Derek inside was very welcoming. Ill definitely play here again
Amazing
After a rough day at work, I was able to go golf and it was fun
Cool place
After a rough day of work, derrek and cade made my day better
Great staff
Derek and cade made my Friday afternoon great after a long day at work
Fun course
Fairways are in pretty good shape and greens running fast
The courseisin prettygoodshape. .
Gotten worse
Pace of play was horrible. I used to love coming here to play a round in the summer for a cheaper price but the pace of play was 6+ hours. My T time was at 6 and ended up not even finishing because people were taking way too long. The staff at the front wasn’t very nice there and pretty pushy. Overall, bad experience and I’m afraid it’s getting worse.
Great course for beginners
Course was in great shape for summer play. Carts need improvement. Mark in the proshop was very professional and knowledgeable. The greens were planning very well, fairways could use some TLC if they spent a little money on them.
Mark the Volunteer is Awesome!
Mark got us off to a great start, checked in with us mid round/end round. Highly recommend!
John&Thorman
Mark is a total professional. Customer service skills are exceptional.
John, Ken and Drew do an excellent job preparing the carts for all customers
Mark in the pro shop and staff were great, friendly and informative. Definitely will play here again!
Much improved
The course finally has some grass on it! Damage from recent storms, still needs lots of work but it is now playable.
What an Improvement!
I’ve got to give credit where it’s due—this course has improved immensely since my last visit about a year ago. The course conditions are in much better shape, and it’s obvious that a lot of work has gone into improving the grounds. I heard there’s new management that actually knows what they’re doing, and it definitely shows.
The staff was also noticeably friendlier and more welcoming, which made for a much better overall experience. A special shout-out to Lexi, the cart girl! She was cheerful, friendly, and made several rounds—we saw her at least three times during our round, which was much appreciated, especially in the summer heat.
It was surprisingly busy considering how hot it was, so it’s great to see people enjoying the course again.
The one area that could use some attention is pace of play. A few course rangers helping keep groups moving would make a big difference and improve the experience for everyone - but again, they are busier than they are probably used to - at least compared to any of the courses in the area.
I also stopped by for karaoke a couple of weekends ago, and it was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was fun, the crowd was great, and it made for a really enjoyable evening. Overall, it’s great to see this place headed in such a positive direction. Keep up the great work!
What you would expect
Course could be better but is what I expected for money paid. Fairways are bare in a lot of spots. Greens were in great shape considering this is Az in July.
Absolute Dump
This course is in awful condition. There is really no reason to waste your time here.
