i paid for 18 with cart earlier today and everything was going good till the 5th hole , i love kids and have kids of my own , but to have a 7 year old driving a cart while the dad is teeing off multiple balls and playing all of them is insane especially while i am just sitting 10 minutes waiting for 1 person who is playing multiple balls , no ranger to enforce pace of play or anything so i just left and even though it was an excellent price i will not be returning ever .

There was a group ahead of us who were very slow. There was no ranger to hurry them along a bit.

Overall this course is good if you’re just looking to get reps and swings in. Nothing overly difficult, and opportunities to score. Definitely needs better upkeep, greens were a little rough, fairways had some bad spots that were muddy, and a lack of of grass. Yes, it’s very inexpensive to play, which shows in the upkeep. Not a bad course, just wouldn’t pay much to play there.

Overall I loved the layout. Not extremely long but lots of house lined fairways. Have to be on target to score. Lots of challenges. Tho grass hasn’t quite come in yet it was well worth the price. Got paired with ex NFL player that made it the most pleasant round in awhile. Being from Texas and there on a visit I did my homework on an old course. Got to love history as this one definitely does. I’ll leave that for others to discover

Very neglected course in poor condition. Place of play was good because there was hardly anyone playing it. No water on the course and no beverage cart. Largely ignored.

We had a great time playing Golden Hills! The staff are excellent!! We played later in the day and it was great

Have seen some bad reviews, but I loved it. Nice layout, challenging course if you struggle getting on the greens with the bunker placements.

Yes there’s some dirt around the course; but overall, way better than I expected. Greens were faster than many of the other budget friendly courses I’ve played. Friendly staff in the pro shop. Great pace of play. Can’t beat the value for the money.

I played the course today Wednesday May 6,2026 The staff was friendly. The course could use some work. Tee boxes where in great shape. The fairways were spotty. The greens were mixed some were pretty good some were terrible. The while course had water all over it like the sprinklers were on to long or there was pipe leaking. Last thing is if you play this course you need to know there ate house along very fairway on both sides of most of them. So you need to be able to hit it straight. Plus there is a lot of bare dirt along every fairway.

Good place to place Good Price. Very Nice Staff

I will play it again.
