Take my advice: don't play here.
Go play mini golf instead. You can't putt on these greens.
overseed is growing in very well. Course should be in hreat shape in a couple of weeks
Greens were very slow
Only played 9 holes. Greens were were slow and we were not allowed to drive carts onto fairways which slowed down pace of play, especially with a group of not so seasoned players in front of us. A ranger had to take us back to the clubhouse after nine holes, which was a long ride we would have had difficulty finding ourselves as it got dark
A well managed fareway, Fun golfcourse desin, but not good green condition.

Bad Bad Bad
Woof. Bad experience from start to finish. We had a group of three and they forced a fourth guy into a cart with me who proceeded to shoot 150. I've never left a golf course so disappointed. They should advise that they are going to make you ride with a random person.
Brutal
Starter is unfriendly and the course is in rough shape. Save your money.
Holding at Arizona grand
A beautifully laid out course
In between the condos
Not being able to drive on the fairways was a pain the scenery was magnificent
The staff were first rate
Supplying us w tees collecting our clubs for us
Gotta love golfing like this
SINGLES BEWARE!! Worst starter in America.
Like others who have reviewed Arizona Grand, this is my first review on GolfNow. Simply put, it’s a bad golf course. But that wouldn’t have bothered me as I’m not very picky. When I showed up, the starter flagged me down heading to the first tee and said that I need to ride with someone who he paired with us. I said there is no warning on GolfNow about a shared cart. He proceeds to say he doesn’t control GolfNow and that “I have 220 golfers.” I told him that I don’t know what that means (and I still don’t). I asked if I could pay extra to have my own cart. “No but you can pay $10k to be a member.” He then lectured me on how it’s typical for country clubs to pair singles with carts. He should never use the word country club to describe this course. It’s a dog track. Greens are unputtable. The resort itself is nice and I give them credit for dressing up the first hole to make it seem like a nice course. It’s not. Go play Starfire, Silverado, Orange Tree Enncado18 orMcCormick Ranch. Avoid at all costs!
The course is nice - the staff is not
After being subjected to the rude starter a couple of times, I swore to never play Arizona Grand again. But it's a fun course. I really like the layout. On this particular day, the course staff rushed everyone off the course at dusk, including one group that was in the fairway. The staff didn't let them finish the hole.
Great value
Fairways are in terrible condition but the Greens are in great shape!
Don’t Believe the Photos
First time reviewing but this course took that much out of me to get to this point. For $75 green fees I simply expected more. They mention there is a practice facility including a warm up area, shipping and putting green… that is just a batting cage net. When asked about the locker room use I was greeted with there wasn’t one and I would need to change in the lobby bathroom.
My round began 30 minutes behind schedule. The first hole you see in the photos with the golf carts is a blind shot uphill. You have no idea if the group in front has moved on other than to wait and guess, further prolonging the tee sheet.
I will tell you the first 9 holes are what I would do expect out of an executive 9 with the elevations and continued blind shots. Weird tee boxes, GIR not viable, unrealistic approaches. You will question every hole on the front on if you booked the right course.
It was so bad me and the other random partnered walked off after the non-existent turn (there is no turn). Every photo you see online with the scenic backdrops is of the back 9.
Didn’t ask for a refund, wasn’t worth my time to come back.
Played with a friend from NM, and his view was there were no markings on course. It was just trying to figure out where to go, after each hole. He was pretty frustrated as was I.
Challenging course
Had a great time playing this course. Lots of challenging holes. I will definitely be back
Don’t Book
The staff here always tries to cram people into your tee time
- regardless if the group before or after you didn't book the same time slot as you. Also, they'll (the staff) flat-out lie to you and tell you that your tee time was 10 min ahead/delayed of the time you booked, just to cram you with another 1/2/3 people. If this helped with the pace of play I wouldn't mind, but I ended up playing a 5 hour round and the Marshall driving around never did a thing about all the slow play. The green on hole 1 is always in terrible condition; you'd think they figure it out after a season or two. The course is great value, but the people running the operation are terrible and make you never want to return.
Ace of a day
Had a great day. Aced par 3 hole 12. Pace was very slow since course was packed due to closures of many surrounding courses due to overseeding. . All in all an enjoyable day.
