About Canoa Ranch Golf Resort

Located south of Tucson in the town of Green Valley is Canoa Ranch Golf Resort, located next to Canoa Ranch Golf Club. This 94-unit resort features guest rooms and 1- and 2-bedroom suites. A buffet breakfast is included with rooms. Other amenities include a fitness center and outdoor pool. The golf course was designed by the team of Schmidt-Curley and opened in 2003. The resort offers unlimited golf packages, as well as access to six area golf courses such as San Ignacio and Haven Golf Club. Canoa Ranch Golf Resort is located a short distance of Green Valley dining and nightlife, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking.

lightning close by

There was lightning over the local mountains less than 5 miles away. We went into have lunch waiting for them to clear. We had only completed nine holes. They did not close the golf course and offered no compensation. I think this is really poor.

Good solid course

Excellent course, not crowded and inexpensive as it is off season in Green Valley. It was hot >100 degrees but the course is in good shape. Course was well watered with soft greens and fairways. Front 9 fairways are much wider with a little tighter back 9. Very playable unless you are wild with t shots. Very fair course and not very long and can score well unless you are very wild.
