About Canoa Ranch Golf Resort
Located south of Tucson in the town of Green Valley is Canoa Ranch Golf Resort, located next to Canoa Ranch Golf Club. This 94-unit resort features guest rooms and 1- and 2-bedroom suites. A buffet breakfast is included with rooms. Other amenities include a fitness center and outdoor pool. The golf course was designed by the team of Schmidt-Curley and opened in 2003. The resort offers unlimited golf packages, as well as access to six area golf courses such as San Ignacio and Haven Golf Club. Canoa Ranch Golf Resort is located a short distance of Green Valley dining and nightlife, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking.Facts

Beautiful layout and course was in great condition . Bunkers are only thing that need work but would definitely come back again .
Nice well maintained course. Staff very nice.
Nice pace of play and the course is in very good shape. Only drawback was no beverage cart was out in the afternoon. Had water with us. Went to refill on the back nine and the tank was empty. Recipe for disaster when over 90 degrees out. Will definitely play this course again!
Coming along
Course in better shape. Greens still very slow. We were able to get out a little early thanks to cart staff. Much appreciated!!
Nice course!
Only complaint was the greens. Looks like there is quite a bit of poa triv and the grass was tall = bumpy greens. Tee boxes were perfect, large enough to find fresh grass to hit off of. Very scenic and beautiful along the entire course. I will definitely be back here
Slow greens
Greens are kept a little longer than normal, so they are slower than earlier in the year. Sand traps like many courses in Green Valley are mostly crusty dirt.
Fairways and tee boxes are lush.
Really cool layout with beautiful scenery.
Excellent Deal
Beautiful course and very reasonable prices. I played the Azul tees which was challenging but fun.
Would love to play with my son and friends here in the future.
Traps and carts
Carts need ball washer and ice chest. Sand traps were very rocky causing damage to your club face. Fairways and greens were in good shape.

Traps
Traps are ground under repair everywhere. Sister course Torres Blancas has the same problem. Playing in the desert - no sand in the traps- I don’t get it!
Greens not ready for prime time
This is a great layout. Really enjoyed that part of the round. What took away from a potential 5 star rating was the greens. Very grainy and slow. Who knows. In a week they might be great with a little mowing.
Great track, but….
It is a course you have to play a few times with many semi-blind shots. It was over seeded but very narrowly - lots of hardpan and a slightly errant shot can run into the desert. Would love to play it when there is some semblance of rough. Bunkers are horrible. Pro shop staff inconsistent from apathetic to average. One friendly Marshall.
