Missing ranger
The face of play was terrible. When we got to eighth hole there were 3 groups waiting. No ranger ever came around and there was no beverage cart.
Tough for Average Golfer
I think the reason this course only charges $40 for 18 holes with a cart is because it is so difficult. Unless you are a regular breaker of 90, you will find this course VERY challenging.
Great course!
Great course! Amazing views! Will definitely be going back!
Great layout
Great layout and views. Sand traps are terrible. We will not even play out of them. Hard and full of rocks, will tear up your clubs.
5stard
Worth the drive to play the best layout course with Awesome holes. Loved every minute of this golf course in the Hills of southern Tucson. Highly highly recommended.
No Beverage cart
I have played here 3 to 4 times a month for 6 months and more than half of those times the course did not offer a beverage cart while playing. The price you pay to play should include a cart everyday. Yesterday was 95° with no cold beverages available AGAIN! If this happens again, I will go elsewhere that has more hospitality to golfers in hot weather. GET A CART OUT THERE!
Great Service, But Brutal Pace of Play
I had high hopes for this round. The service was great and the course was in good shape overall. Unfortunately, the bunkers were filled with rocks instead of sand, so I avoided playing out of them to protect my clubs.
The real problem started on the back nine. After hole 9, the pace of play came to a standstill. I was stuck waiting on three groups ahead of me before I could even tee off. By hole 10, the backups were so bad that the groups behind me were also stacking up. It got so bad that I ended up quitting and couldn't finish my round. It was incredibly frustrating.
After driving over an hour to play, I had to walk off the course without finishing my round. It’s disappointing to invest that much time and not even be able to complete the experience. This course has potential, but the pace of play needs serious attention.
When did sand stop being used in bunkers
Although it worked out for me I’m fairly sure that my ball was not meant to roll right through sand free bunkers. Apart from this I think that this course is a most enjoyable golf challenge.
The course was great except the sandtraps which were terrible. They need to be rebuilt.
Slow play
Took some visitors from Iowa here for an afternoon of golf and every hole was 20 minutes long. Signed up for 18 holes and played 10 before it got dark. Used to really love this course but having real concerns about ever returning. The bunkers are really bad the fairways were moderately maintained and the greens are pretty rough this year. Really sad it's a beautiful Golf Course otherwise
