About Canoa Ranch Golf Resort

Located south of Tucson in the town of Green Valley is Canoa Ranch Golf Resort, located next to Canoa Ranch Golf Club. This 94-unit resort features guest rooms and 1- and 2-bedroom suites. A buffet breakfast is included with rooms. Other amenities include a fitness center and outdoor pool. The golf course was designed by the team of Schmidt-Curley and opened in 2003. The resort offers unlimited golf packages, as well as access to six area golf courses such as San Ignacio and Haven Golf Club. Canoa Ranch Golf Resort is located a short distance of Green Valley dining and nightlife, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking.

Canoa Ranch

As in previous years the bunkers are not playable - should be ground under repair. A few are being worked on however the majority are rocky hard pan in which one may damage your club, both green side and fairway bunkers.

Great Course

Course is in good condition.. like previous reviews bunkers need work. Greens and Fairways are in great condition. I would not pay more than $60 to play this course this time of year. Enjoy.

Good day of golf almost ruined by one very unfriendly lady

The course was in very good shape. The greens were fast and firm, few if any divots, fairways were in good shape, bunkers are typical of the area, and the pace of play was very good. The one big drawback, and I hesitate to write this but since it happened twice in row, I have to mention it. The lady checking people in at the pro shop is the rudest person I have met on a course. She has a permanent scowl on her face, never says anything polite or nice and it is a challenge to just ignore her and remember I'm lucky and about to play golf. I go in with a mindset that she will not perturb me but her very ugly demeanor is hard to ignore. Now I did notice she is kind of nice to members and people of a certain skin tone. I'd hate to think she's acting like this to people who look like me. Every other staff member at the course is the best, real professionals. It is just the one lady at the check-in counter that made me rate the staff with 1 star, she is that bad.
