Excellent course, great condition, great staff.
My wife and I played on our recent trip to Arizona and we both agreed that it was our favourite course in the area. Josh, our caddy was excellent and it made the experience as first time players of the course much more enjoyable.
Beautiful scenery, and perfect playing conditions.
The pro shop is dangerously stocked with souvenirs from the course.
We thoroughly ourselves and will be back!
Bruh, you serious?
Layout kinda eh. The greens were rolling nice. Made 6 bird dawgs. Ate 6 hotdogs. Sunflower seeds in the greens. Cigar butts on the tees. Come on bruh.
Great Grass
The course was in unbelievable condition. The grass was perfect on every square inch of the course. I will say that the Pinnacle course is more difficult than the Monument course, You get what you pay for.
Inconsistent pacing, but nice
(Pinnacle course) The course conditions were absolutely fabulous—easily one of the best-manicured courses I’ve played. The fairways were pristine, the greens rolled fairly true, and the overall upkeep was top-tier.
The layout is both challenging and rewarding, favoring a target-golf style that demands accuracy. If you don’t hit it straight, you’ll find yourself in trouble. One key thing to note: you do not return to the clubhouse after nine holes. So if you were hoping for a bathroom break or a quick snack at the turn, you’re out of luck—the next restroom isn’t until the 15th tee.
Pacing & Flow: While we finished in 4 hours and 30 minutes, the pace felt inconsistent. Playing as a threesome, we were frequently pushing a foursome ahead while a twosome trailed behind us. This created an awkward rhythm—sometimes feeling rushed to hit a shot, only to wait for the group ahead to clear. Given the 10-minute tee time intervals and the premium price point, you’d expect a smoother flow of play.
Troon
Probably one of the best kept courses that I have seen. Tee decks to greens, all were in fabulous condition.
Beautiful scenery
Course is very challenging and in great shape except for the greens. Most of the greens are not in the shape they should be in for the price. I know they get a lot of play but they need more attention a lot of bare spots and debris from mowing with divots throughout from lazy golfers.
Fun and beautiful course
Worth the money, will definitely go back and play both courses.
Granddaddy of country-clubs-for-a-day remains fun
Troon North was one of the pioneers of purpose-built upscale public golf, and the fun and scenery encountered at the Monument’s Weiskopf/Morrish design helps uphold Troon North’s reputation, along with the comprehensiveness of the club facilities and the private club-quality course conditioning.
The second nine here is the highlight, with the short par-4 15th, downhill long par-3 16th and tough par-4 17th serving as the course’s crescendo before a breather of a finisher.
Nice course, hot day
Hard to enjoy this lovely track when the temps exceed 110. Would like to play when it’s cooler.
