Bold and Beautiful
I played the Pinnacle course and the scenery was absolutely stunning! Pin placement and the incorporation of natural features makes for bold decision making. It’s hard but fun! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to bring my friends back to play
Special
Beautiful fall Arizona day! Fairways flawless! Simply beautiful!!
Great round! Great staff!!
Amazing views but...
I was told this course is a must see and it was amazing, but for the cost I have a few complaints. If this was a cheaper course I wouldn't even mention these things, but my expectations were high and a few things really let me down. The course was cart path only and this was not mentioned when booking. Then we were told to hurry up because we were 6 minutes behind the pace of play. I am an extremely fast golfer and this was frustrating when it was supposed to be a relaxing day out. 2 of the greens were in terrible condition with dead spots from ball marks that made them extremely bumpy. Then somehow I recieve a text from the people we were paired up with. It was a video of a nice shot I had, and I'm glad to have gotten it, but I never gave them my phone number. Did this course really give my phone number to a stranger they paired me with? Glad I went but not sure I would go again, 1 and done.
Add Troon North to your Favorites!
Brunch prices were extremely affordable and great food.
The staff members were all professional.
Driving range balls (unlimited) provided, chipping and putting green available also stocked with practice balls.
Starter provided a gift of a marker and green repair tool.
One of the best dessert courses anywhere. Beautiful photo ops at every hole.
Four hour round ad leisurely pace.
Cocktails after golf ended the day perfectly.
always great courses here-both of the. Fairway and greens wonderful and scenery is second to non.
Great layout, great views
Second time at Troon North, first time playing the Monument course. Played at 730 AM as a twosome and felt like we had the course to ourselves which was a treat. The layout is a blast and there are kodak moments on every hole which my fiancé really liked. Overall, the conditions were good for the time of year but the greens had significant holes in them which I am assuming is from frequent play. A few times I had to move my ball off line to avoid holes. I played two other courses this week and neither of those courses had these marks like Troon and they were a fracture of the cost. But overall this is a fantastic course. It's pricey, but the views are worth it. I'd like to experience it in the spring when the conditions are prime.
First Time Playing - Very Impressed
There are some fantastic courses here in the Phoenix Valley - this is now in my top 5. Amazing views. Great layout. Green and lush. Superbly friendly staff (bag drop to front desk to starter to beverage cart to restaurant staff). The greens were smooth, perfect pace, and yet receptive on approach (read: the ball stopped nicely). The GolfNow price of $75 per player was a steal. Well done, Troon Team! We'll be back.
Bucket List Course
Always wanted to play Troon North, so with a summer rate of $50 we jumped on it. Entire staff was outstanding, very professional, friendly, and helpful. We were booked on the Monument course but staff told us the Pinnacle course was available and in better condition so that's what we played. With temperatures in the low 90s and a 3 1/2 hour relaxing round, it was perfect. Troon golf spoils you! Well worth the hour drive, thanks Troon!!
Good value
A must play course in Scottsdale. Always in good shape
6 hr round
No Marshall super slow round in the heat ruined it for me
Troon North
The course was not in very good condition - pretty rough. And the fairways were sopping wet with mud in many places. It was very disappointing.
Great course
Played monument. This is a great course always first class. Greens and tee boxes in great shape. There are a number of burned out spots in the fairways but nothing really bad. Played in about 4+15
