Nice
Very nice course. Staff is friendly, views are great.
Oddly busy
The course was oddly busy for late afternoon. Pace of play was lagging because of a 4-some who would not pick up the pace. After they were 4 holes behind the group in front of them, they finally let us through. The greens were in good shape. They have subtle breaks which are hard to read some times. The rest of the course is in very good shape. You need to plan some of your shots. Some holes you can just bomb away, others you need to think about where you want to land. If the course would have had a ranger keeping pace, then this would have been an excellent round.
Great Track
Excellent condition for the summer bring extra balls this is a beautiful but difficult course. Highly recommend!
No ranger
There were no Rangers on the course and the three foursomes in front of us were pathetically slow. Had to wait about 10 minutes on each tee box on the back nine.
A Surreal But Amazing Round
Had the pleasure of playing the Pinnacle course at TN this morning with a good friend of mine. Because of all the current health concerns, the course was virtually empty. Very strange feeling on such an awesome course. We took our time and finished our round in 3:15. Course conditions were incredible, and staff very friendly and professional.
Theron North - Monuments Course
A great experience! Impressive club house with welcoming staff from the bag drop through breakfast (delicious), to the pro shop & starter crew.
An outstanding desert course that is challenging but fair. Spectacular vistas and desert surroundings.
A must play on your bucket list!
Very good layout, challenging for any level, a bit pricey, but that’s desert golf in February
One of the best in Scottsdale
Conditions are superb, great desert course with some elevation changes and million dollar views!
Doug R
Course is extremely well manicured. Fairly open fairways makes for fun round. Greens are excellent although a bit too many ball marks.
Omg!
What a golf course! Fairways like carpet. Greens smooth and fast. Great challenging layout. You had better not be spraying it off the tee. A must play in Phoenix
A beautiful and challenging course. Not to be missed.
Perfect
Course was in perfect conditions and staff was top notch. I would recommend everyone play this course if they are in the Phoenix valley!
Best Course is the Phoenix Valley!
I have played all of the courses in the Phoenix valley and the Pinnacle course at Troon North is the best in the area! The course has such a great layout. The conditions right now are the best I have seen them and the greens are PURE! I would highly recommended getting out to see for yourself!
Played during the Waste Management in 2016
Played during Waste Management PGA Week so like everywhere else in Phoenix, prices are about twice what they typically are (supply and demand I guess) -. Besides the outrageous price, the course was great and in great condition. A lot of fun holes. Would love to make it back!
Excellent "Monument Course"
Had a great time even though weather a little chilly, Staff fantastic, course in great shape. Highly recommend one of top courses in Phoenix metro area.
Cool Experience
Troon North is a great overall 36 hole facility in a great location in Scottsdale. The course are both in good condition and are fun to play. The Monument course is slightly better than Pinnacle in my opinion as the elevation changes and views set it apart. Both are very tight off the tee which would get tiresome if playing daily but the landscape and conditioning of the course are great. Pace of play always seems to be an issue but a good part of this is due to the tightness of the fairways and the surrounding desert being all but completely unplayable within feet of the rough. Like many Scottsdale courses you are paying a premium for location and Troon is no exception. There is an exciting buzz at the facility each time I’ve been there and it’s an enjoyable and recommended experience for anyone that hasn’t been there.
