Good value
A must play course in Scottsdale. Always in good shape
6 hr round
No Marshall super slow round in the heat ruined it for me
Troon North
The course was not in very good condition - pretty rough. And the fairways were sopping wet with mud in many places. It was very disappointing.
Great course
Played monument. This is a great course always first class. Greens and tee boxes in great shape. There are a number of burned out spots in the fairways but nothing really bad. Played in about 4+15
Troon North never disappoints. Challenging lay out, great playing conditions, and fantastic service. Would recommend this track to both visitors to the valley and residents.
Great Course
The Monument at Troon North is a "must play" course. It was in great shape. i highly recommend it
Top Notch
Both courses at Troon North are great and challenging. Everybody must play at least once.
Nice course
Staff was great, course was a tad wet believe it or not and bummer the range wasn't open. Would have been nice to know that at the time of booking.
First rate...tough but fun.
Desert courses are never easy, but Troon has a lot of fun holes. Driveable par 4's and reachable par 5's from the proper tees make the course enjoyable. Always excellent staff from start to finish.
The. View
Every time you came around the corner it was another picturesque moment. Can’t wait to play again.
Range closed?! No notice.......
The course was in good shape. Some of the fairways and greens were a bit soft. (Wet, actually) so the ball would stop pretty much where it landed. I found out that on some fairways it is best to aim for the distance the stake is at. If you go past the stake the ball will run towards the washes as the fairways slant that direction. Overall, a good experience except some idiot on the 18th hole just sat with his cart in the fairway and wouldn't move. Dont know what his deal was, but after 15 - 20 minutes and the group behind me catching up I had to yell at him to get him to move.
P.S. You really should post that you close your range on Mondays. I had no idea. I did not have a chance to loosen up before going out.
Been a while.... just as gorgeous as ever
A true north Scottsdale gem. 5 stars top to bottom. Staff was incredibly friendly and "real". Very well watered. Greens were spongy and true (about a 7-8 speed). Great scenery and elevation changes (which are important on some of the par 3 holes - the 232yard hole plays more like 200-210).
We played from the gold tees - 6750yrds, 1 box up from black.
Beware of going left on hole 3 Monument hole
This course has many "boulder" challenges.
Round would have been more enjoyable if player assistance had monitored pace more closely. Two younger players in group ahead of us thought they were only folks on the course. They did everything in slow motion and had never heard of golf etiquette. We had to wait at every hole. Assistance should have kept these guys moving.
