Air Radied

Was very disappointed that it was not published on golf now that they just air radied the greens and Faiways. The pro shop said that they asked GolfNow to add it to there site but they refused to do so.I would have played somewhere else. Not very happy with GolfNow .Lesson learned call the pro shop and confirm before booking on the deceptive GolfNow.

Fountain Hills course

Course layout and facilities are excellent but course is in average shape from tee to green. Greens are average speed and bumpy. Pace of play was average given the course edict of 4 hours and 24 minutes. Got a great deal on Golf Now but only recommend playing course if one is able to get one. Greens will be aerated on July 9 so check before reserving.

Great track

Nice layout with tees that brings as much challenge as you wantt to biite off.Great staff and they make a priority of making your round under 4 ours 30 min.The only thing slightly negative was the greens were not very smooth to roll putts on and a few bumpy...otherwise a good experience

Gorgeous scenery!!

Postcard picture views on many holes and plenty of trouble if you miss your target. A few fairways need to green up/fill in a little, but that's to be expected from desert golf. Staff everywhere was helpful and eager to help and the grill is A++.

I plan on returning..

Some issues

My brother is slightly handicapped with drop foot and has walking issues. While they did give us closer privileges driving closer to the greens, it was more than difficult for him because when you parked to go on to the green every one of them was down a slope of about 60 degrees and were 10 to 20 descents. Thus climbing down and up to the golf cart was an problem. Therefore I do not think it is a course for anyone with handicap issues - particularly those with mobility restrictions..

Eagle Mt fun

Good course good layout OK condition the people that helped us were very friendly but it was very slow on the second nine. And the food at the turn at 3 o’clock was pretty poor. But it was free so I’m trying not to complain. Overall I enjoyed playing this course exclamation

Dried out

Too high of price for the course condition. It is very dried out. The course is a great layout and would be awesome if it was green.

Very dry conditions on the course

I have played this course a few times in the past. It has a good layout and some good character. Yesterday I played at the fairways are very dried out. It looked like mid summer conditions, but it is only April 12. I felt the green fees were over priced given the condition of the fairways.

This was the best course we played this week. Scenery is amazing. Pace of play was perfect. Staff was friendly too. Be sure to check out the swimming dog (Buddy) by the ladies tee on #7.

Good views and that's about it

Not being from AZ and not knowing too much about course maintenance schedules in this part of the country, I always use caution when commenting.

Here is what I witnessed. Painted fairways, beat up fairways, and other little things you don't expect from a golf course during peak season in AZ. The pictures do not match the ones posted on the website and the rough was browned-out, dead looking. The greens rolled well and true which was the only positive.

The course has great views and offers some challenging golf holes with the elevated tees shots and without any GPS on the carts, you have to navigate the old fashioned way with a yardage books and a laser if you have one. Long hitters can pull driver out on every hole.

#14 is one of the better/ challenging par 4's you will play. A good tee shot is required and your approach is quite daunting into an elevated green where plenty can go wrong if it not struck well.

Too many other courses in AZ to play to go back which is a test I think you need to pass if you want to be memorable in this state.

Fun Course in Great Shape

I always like to play Eagle Mountain when in Scottsdale. Course was in great shape, greens rolling pretty fast but fair. Layout is fun, with lots of mountain elevation changes and scenic tee shots. Views of the valley to the South are spectacular. If you haven't played here before, put it on your list. It's worth the trip. #18 is just awesome.

NOT worth the money right now

You're better off saving $90 and playing Desert Canyon which is in FAR BETTER shape. Eagle Mountain was a huge disappointment a couple of days ago. Played 36 for my birthday, morning at Desert Canyon for $85 and afternoon at Eagle Mountain for $175. Honestly, you'd think the rates would be flip flopped. I would have paid 175 at DC, no way would I have paid $85 for Eagle Mountain. Greens had dead spots, the rough was dead bermuda (and not a gentle dead yellow but a bright, unsightly yellow like something went wrong with the overseed before winter).. with a bunch of green patches of some natural grass (it looked hideous). The first fairway even had huge patches of sod put in, entire course just dry as a bone, greens hardly held anything they were so firm and dry... NOT WORTH $175... I did get to golf board for the first time though, that was fun. But really... go play Desert Canyon instead. I'm sorry Eagle Mountain, loved you... but I was so angry when I showed up to pay $175 for that garbage.
