Parking fees?
Good course. Lots of sand traps. Greens are slow, bumpy, in a few months, they will be back to normal.
I don’t remember paying $10 for parking in any of the courses.
It was OK
Overall I like the course. The greens were punched 2 weeks ago, we were told. Looks like it may have been more recent than that because I would think after 2 weeks they would have been in better shape. Still very very bumpy. My biggest complaint was that EVERY SINGLE PIN was either right on the edge or on a ridge. Some were on pretty significant slopes, which was ridiculous. When the pin was front, it was probably 3 feet from the front. Same with the back tees. Honestly, worst pin locations for every hole. 18 holes. And 18 terrible pin positions. Almost like trying to putt into the clowns mouth. Overall the facility is nice and the course is fun.
Great course...but
This course has a great layout with plenty of bunkers to make you think about your shot. We enjoyed but would have been better if the greens weren't aerated. Putts were really difficult to make. Will be great to play there again, but only after the greens grow in completely.
Great course, except...
Awesome layout, one of my favorites I've played in the Phoenix area. However, not sure if the grounds crew was having a bad day or simply found joy in placing every single pin 3 paces on, often on slopes. It's a great design so the questionable pin placements made it less enjoyable. Would still recommend this course -- hoping to play again and maybe pins will be more accessible / less gimmicky.
really fun desert course..conditions were good ..greens tricky fast at times
Definitely play again
Great shape, great summer rate, and overall a fun course
Paul
Great course first time playing they have nice little touches like free range balls, bottle water and ice towels on the 10th hole to cool you down.
The greens were just punched and we’re in terrible shape. The rest of the course was in good condition for this time of year. But to pay as much as we did and the greens to be in that condition was a rip off
TOP TEN IN PHOENIX
Everything about this course was great. Tee boxes, greens, fairways, staff and clubhouse. Will play every time I am in Phoenix.
Palmer Course is in Good Shape
From tee to green, Palmer GC was in good playing condition. Of course with the desert heat, it is necessary to water routinely; however, the front of most greens were heavily watered (as were some adjacent traps), stopping the ball in its tracks, which was not my intention, when I was expecting a roll-out. Pace of play was good (less than 4 hours), as was value (thank you, TeeOff). Enjoy this course (and its sister) while summer rates are in place.
Great Shape - Bunkers Galore
Course was in great shape but there's 108 bunkers on this course. Be ready to try to avoid them at all costs. Overall a fun day, but I do hate bunkers so this was not the best course for me.
Amazing
Beautiful course , must play , friendly staff , beautiful fairways , well maintained. Absolute pleasure to play , maybe I would compare this with Sedona Golf course . I would say the best I have played till date .
Excellent
Given it’s June, the course was in great condition including the greens. Friendly staff. Definitely will be back
