JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa

We came out for a week from Texas to play golf with friends. We’ve never played Wildfire so decided to splurge. Impressive pro shop with a great selection of anything golf. The staff was especially nice and helpful. There are a variety of tees for everyone. The practice areas and the course was in great condition. The pace of play could not have been better. Although the course and amenities met / exceeded our expectations, we felt like the price was slightly higher than some equally nice courses in the area.

I live on a private golf course and am very particular about course conditions, and how the course is managed. This course is beautiful condition. The tee boxes look very good. The fairways are very green, considering it’s a desert course that’s a good thing. The greens are perfect. There are many bunkers that protect the greens and landing zones. The staff and marshals are very polite and very helpful. Everyone should take the opportunity to play this course. There is also a Palmer designed course too I’ll play that soon.

Great course. I’m a high handicapper and was able to find most of my balls. Some challenges on the greens tho. Would play again.

Course is fantastic, and is in excellent shape. Greens are perfect and fairways couldn’t be better. Definitely my favorite course in the valley.

Unfortunately we were paired with a 40 handicapper. Terrible experience!

Pushed to keep things moving and didn’t complete round in the daylight.

Not what you expect when paying $165/round/person.

Sad!

Complained to Pro Shop and no remedy offered in to date….
