Enjoyable day with old friends
Course employees are helpful and friendly. The greens are very fast and they roll true. The Meritage Bar and Restaurant has a fine selection of local craft beers on tap. The one negative is many of the holes on the Palmer course seem quite similar.
Great experience. We’ll be back.
My weekend golf buddies and I took a trip out there to Scottsdale and played this course on the weekend. It exceeded our expectations, provided a very challenging layout, was in fantastic condition, and the staff was amazing. What a great experience. We will be back.
Sandrap Heaven
I played the Palmer course before this one. They are two totally different beasts! This has so many sandtraps. They are tough to avoid the full round! Sand is in good shape so is doable to get out. I would play this course again.
Beautiful Course
The course layout was great, lots and lots of bunkers make it very challenging. But greens fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. On the spendy side in peak season but worth the money
Faldo course was fair regards to fairways but possibly too many bunkers the average golfer. Enjoyed our round though.
Mr & Mrs. Golfers
The course was in great condition with good pace for 18 holes. Carts were clean and well maintained. Good amount of directions to the tees.
Wildfire Golf at Faldo
We stayed at the JW Marriott in Desert Springs so that it was very convenient for us to walk over to the course. The day we played the course was very full, however, we finished in less than 4 hours with a foursome, which is always nice. The course was in good shape and they had many many bunkers, so bring your sand game! On the par 3’s, and approaching all greens, it’s very important to have the correct distance. Long is not good. The carts have yardage, so all is well.
Great course!
First time playing the Palmer course. Did not disappoint. Greens were fast and in great shape. Found a few bunkers and they were in great shape too. Rough was thick and challenging. It’s a beautiful course.
