Magnificent views. I played the whites. I should have played the yellows. The course is in great shape. I highly recommend it. Very steep cart paths, I can't imagine walking it.

All of the staff were awesome. If I lived closer I would try to work PT at your course. Great layout!! Definitely coming back to play again.

The course was impeccably maintained and challenging as all get out as well once you got past the 1st 6 holes would play it again in a heart beat.

I love this course. It is very hard and beats me up every time I play it but I still love coming back time and time again. Not a cheap course, and would be nice to have a full size driving range but very fun, very challenging, staff is great, and pace of play is better than most Phoenix courses

I am a Troon card member and play over 60 rounds a year as usually 5 to 10 are here at Lookout Mountain. I love the course and the value is great but today the pace of play was terrible. We played on a Tuesday and teed off at 830, we finished in just under 5 hours. That is not acceptable. When we mentioned something we were told there was a marshal on the course. There was not at all. I will come back and play but not till after making sure I have nothing else going on that day.

Wanted a good course for the money as I was headed out for the afternoon with my wife, who is a beginner. Reviews looked great and the price was right… So off we went. We are members of an upscalePrivate club in the Midwest, and I typically only play the top courses in the area. When I come out to AZ.. so my expectations were low.

When we arrived and saw the dated facilities and played the first couple holes, we were wondering if we made the right choice. But as we got into the round, particularly the back nine… I was absolutely blown away. The course conditions are spectacular, and their views are better than any course I have played in the state.

I would go so far as to say that this course is a must play.Other than that you opening holes and 18, it is absolutely fantastic.

This is the second time playing this course in two weeks. The greens are fast like incredibly fast, fairways great shape, tee boxes could use some attention. Staff is friendly. My only gripe is for two weeks in a row the caddies have given me defective carts that don't brake. I try and lock the the brake but on steep glides it won't engage for the price to play here I expect a functional cart as it throws off my play having to deal with a faulty cart. Seriously will consider play elsewhere in future most likely Triology.

There were 3 of us in our group, plus a random 4th ( who was great ). Two of us are low handicap, the third is a beginner. The course has an incredible layout up and down the hill side. The views on some of the holes were incredible. It is a bit confusing finding where to start / practice area /etc. but the staff was very helpful and willing to answer any out of towner questions.

If you are looking to play a NICE course with a FUN layout at a REASONABLE price this is it. Especially if you are booking a trip and have never traveled to the area.

Although we haven't played the top dollar courses in the area, our group is hard pressed to believe this course doesn't give a far superior bang for the buck.

Definitely recommend.
