Palm Course - McCormick Ranch Photo submitted by tainge on 03/29/2013
Good course in good condition
It is a fun and not too complicated course to play. Wide open fairways and quite a bit of water. Enjoyable.
Forgiving Fairways
We enjoyed the course. Friendly staff and a nice Pro Shop. The fairways are quite large so it was helpful when we sprayed our tee shots. There was quite a bit of water to stay away from. The course itself was pretty similar from 1-18. They have a nice outdoor patio for drinks and food afterwards. We had salads and they were delicious!
Past its prime
Really good 20 years ago. The course’s condition simply is not being taken care of in the last several years.
Nice Layout
Compared to most public courses, McCormick Ranch Pine is well kept, and an interesting layout not crammed into too small a space. There is a nice practice facility as well. I'll be happy to return and play either course again.
Golf Rates
I am sorry to say but since the Covid Plandemic Golf course rates have increased immensely. What is sad is that this will not help in growing the game and will also effect the retired generation living on a fixed incomes.
Palm course
The course is in great condition. Played it prior to over seeding so greens rolled well.
Challenging first nine
Enjoyed the layout and the conditions were very good this time around. The greens are challenging with a variety of slopes
Outstanding
Course is in fabulous condition. Greens a bit slow, but consistent. Boxes in great shape and fairways gorgeous. Cart path only, but some folks violated this rule. One concern, golfers don’t repair ball marks on greens. This is indicative of the snobs that play here. Otherwise, it’s gorgeous
Average overpriced course
Average course, but they had mostly green grass which is hard to find this time of year.
Good Option
I was in town for a conference and decided to play 18. The course was in good condition and staff was friendly. While the fairways are on the narrow side, it will be difficult to lose balls since it’s wide open in terms of landscaping.
Way overpriced!!
Late Sep $156. Its ridiculous that a course like this dares to charge that much. I played as a single, paid $156 and they did not let me ride on my own, they put one of the other guys on my cart. Not playing there again
