Overall a good experience. Course was in good condition, bunkers varied from ok to rock hard, and the greens were a little bumpy they have not completely recovered from being punched.

Course is in great shape. however no sand in the sand traps. Staff was great with the water as it was very hot.

Staff was friendly. Alot of courses mid summer here dont have beverage carts because lack of play due to heat but there was one yesterday. Course was in really good shape for this time of year. Layout is decent but flat. Nice views throughout. No water hazards. Fairways are wide and forgiving and large greens soft enough to leave a divot. Great summer value.

Got a twilight rate- very reasonable for this level of course. The course itself is in great shape and is a fun track to play. No amenities during twilight which was disappointing. The bigger disappointment was a firm 7:00pm course shutdown that was not announced until we were paying... especially since there was still 40 minutes of light available. They lockdown the carts too, so there's a lot of walking to the ball which costs time. Anyways, I would play again for twilight, bring something to snack on from Circle K, and schedule earlier to get through a full round if possible.

Really enjoyed this track. Only 18 holes is open as they punch the other side and then eventually that’ll switch in the next week or so. Entire courses in great shape, fairways fringe apron and greens all solid and are held up real well typical resort course wide fairways plenty of bunkers on the backside but enough to fill challenge but not beat up after a nice round.

Service from the staff is great replenish water bottles on the greene. Everybody’s super friendly carts are in great shape practice range —all top-notch

good value for the money especially right now if you don’t mind the heat

Designed for a fun and uplifting golf experience this course offers big everything! Big views and a huge practice area ! Monster fairways and large greens . Bunkers all around the course and some unique and especially large areas around the greens to work all types of nice shots if you miss those massive and well kept greens.

Such a beautiful place and design !

Those cute lil Pikachews will keep you smiling all day… they were ubiquitous! Just watch out for them with your golf cart !

Tee times were under 50 because of recent maintenance on the greens. Greens were better than expected and course was in great shape for this time of year.

Booked a tee time thinking I could squeeze 18 in after work. Right before we go out, the starter tells us all carts must be in by 7pm. Got through 13 holes. Good value if I could have played until sunset, pretty bad value with such an early cart call. Wouldn’t book an afternoon tee time here again.

Other than the pace of play, was not really anyone's fault except for what we were told a very slow playing tournament that went off early in the morning. The course was great, tee to green great shape, loved how the course had a water guy circling the course for water. Overall a great experience and Will be Back soon!! Thank you

I use these reviews as a gauge for play so I thought I’d add mine. Overall the course and staff were good. Pace of play was about 4.5 hours and that was following what looked to be a large group playing a scramble. The greens are still healing from aeration but weren’t too bad, slow and a little bumpy but good enough, the fairways were pretty good but the bunkers need help.

Overall good conditions, except greens are still healing from aeration, being both bumpy and slow. Some fairways are struggling with the AZ heat, but you can find some grass nearby to move your ball. Sand traps need sand, not dried mud/clay. Place was great, as there were almost no players on the South course. Value was good. Even with above conditions, I had a great round.

Friendly & helpful staff. Starter was great. He got us started a little early on the Piipaash course. We played the round in just over 3 hours. The course was in great shape despite the very hot summer days. Excellent course to play at a good price.

Course was in great shape. I’ve played a few courses in the area since I’ve been here in Scottsdale and this is by far the nicest.

Very disappointed and won't be returning to Talking Stick. Course was average at best and not worth the $140 "off-season" rate. We played Quintero 1 week prior for $110 and that course was far superior to talking stick. Worst part was the rude staff. Our group had all seasoned golfers who know and respect golf etiquette. We follow rules, kept up with pace of play (our round was 4 hours exactly), didn't drink alcohol at all and were still treated like we didn't belong there. We've had Talking Stick on our radar for a couple years now and were excited to finally play the course. We've played all over the valley and this has been our worst overall experience. Very unfortunate for sure. I kindly request their staff be encouraged to treat people better. I could go on with the specific examples of our experience but won’t be able to fit everything here.
