About Talking Stick Resort & Casino

Just east of Phoenix-Scottsdale, Talking Stick Resort is owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. It is among Arizona's largest golf and casino resorts with nearly 500 guest rooms in a 15-story hotel tower, six restaurants, entertainment and pools. Located off the Highway 101 loop, it is conveniently located near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and many of the area's best golf courses. In addition to nightlife and live casino action at the resort, a Topgolf was recently added to the property as well. The main outdoor pool is large and has live music and DJs during a summer series and cabanas for rent, while there are two smaller pools. Additional amenities include a spa, fitness center and a complimentary shuttle that can transport guests to area attractions. The golf club is located next door and feature 36 holes designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the Piipash and O'odham. Both golf courses are void of residential development and feature forgiving fairways and greens on native terrain.

Great course

Played with my 15 yo son, we had a great time. Fairways, rough and greens all in excellent shape. Course is very open and forgiving. Nice practice facilities and staff were all first class. Highly recommend

One of the worst experiences ever

From the start of the round till the end the threesome in front of us was extremely slow and drinking. No one ever came out to get them to play faster. When we checked in the clubhouse said we should have no issue with finishing but we only completed 16 holes. When we returned our carts in the dark the staff did not help with anything. Three people walking around and one person counting his money who refused to help and said the clubhouse was closed and there was nowhere to complain after I told him what happened. Extremely disappointing when you pay to golf a nice course and this is the experience you have

Nice but track your water

Course was nice, but I would not pay $320 to play. We did a $100 for all the holes you can play and that seemed like a good price to get 11-15 holes in

This was our opener round and it was relaxing and fun to play. Fairways were easy to hit, greens were quick and challenging to read. Pace of play was a touch slow but we were happy to take our time. Nice afternoon of golf! Using the Golfnow deal was a bonus.
