Guests may enjoy rooms and suites overlooking the course, which also deliver in space and comfort. A complimentary breakfast buffet and free drinks at happy hour in the hotel lounge are additional amenities available, not to mention an outdoor pool. The hotel is within 6 miles of hiking trails at Camelback Mountain and is conveniently located near a large outdoor shopping mall as well as minutes from Scottsdale Airport and 60 different restaurants. This course is just challenging enough!
Stonecreek is close to my house and I appreciate the 9 and food option. The restaurant food is good quality and the staff is always friendly and attentive.
Mud everywhere.
We played the back 9 (back 9 and breakfast) and paid $60 (I cannot believe people pay over $100 to play here) the fairways and greens were mostly good but there were several holes with extremely large sections of mud and puddles of water everywhere)

We are working hard on keeping our conditions strong after the rough summer, excessively hot overseed, and the soon to be water restrictions that take effect January 1st. Ok Course
Wet areas near greens did not allow for bump and run, and sloppy areas in various areas on the course. Irrita, but not a killer.

Great course in town
I was pleasantly pleased with Stone Creek golf course. I’ve heard the staff is not the friendliest, but I did not encounter any issues. In fact the course, Marshall made sure that everyone kept up the pace of play. I would definitely go back.

Back 9 is a birdie experience
Breakfast with 9 holes was an unexpected value! The first few holes were tough in the dark and a bit chilly! The course was wet and the ball would plug on a regular basis. But after the 3rd hole the conditions rapidly improved and the food was excellent with outstanding service throughout.

Excellent course!
Always wanted to play this course. It did no disappoint. Great shape and challenging. I especially want to call out the course marshal. We were the 1st group to tee off and finished the front 9 in 90 minutes. The course was letting groups go off the back 9 and we got stuck behind some first time players. The marshal let us skip that group and then come back to finish our missed hole. We still finished in 3.5 hours. I wish I got the name of the marshal to thank him but he was conscious of our time and round and we really appreciated him

Great day for golf
The course was full of golfers. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was a little rough in spots but you can tell they are working on cleaning things up. The greens were still bare in spots. Great brat at the turn.

Garbage and dogs
The condition of the fairways and greens was mostly OK but the course doesn't seem to have a plan to deal with all the garbage through the creek areas. The layout is also congested and quirky with blind hazards on multiple holes. Our round was topped off with locals letting their dogs run off-leash on the 18th fairway and green, and the proshop seemed to be OK with that.
jgingrich04, thank you for the review. We are seeing continual improvements every day after our 110+ degree overseed. We are also actively working on cleaning up our course, especially the city wash that runs in the middle of our course. Walkers and dogs on the course are not tolerated here and I will be following up with our team to re-enforce this. Thank you again for the review, and we hope to see you again soon.
Slow play
Course was overbooked. 3 groups visible every hole. Bad experience

Beautiful round today
Service - excellent
Greens - smooth with nice grass
Sand - soft and positioned well
Rough - not well kept / mowed.
Washes - not kept up and cleaned out
Tee boxes- 80% kept up well. A few need attention

Really fun course
The course has the potential to be top rated, all it would take is to clean up the garbage in the waste areas. Unsightly and unnecessary. Apart from that and the guy where you get your cart (defensive and grumpy), it was a first class experience. The gentleman in the pro shop was very accommodating as we had mixed up our tee time. Course is in great shape with challenging holes, greens are true, all good. The bar person was friendly and attentive and there is a great games room, pool shuffle board, darts.
