The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Always a fun day at Wigwam Gold
Weather was perfect. Course is in great shape. Pace was a little slow but what can ya do?
Wigwam Red
Good time, great condition, greens definitely provide some challenge!
Wigwam Red
First time playing Red course. Booked it by mistake as I wanted to play the blue course. Turned out great!! None of us had played that course before and each one of us said it was our favorite of the three. Course was in great shape. Greens were challenging but not overly hard. Rolled true. Wide tree lined fairways. Overall a great round of golf. Will definitely be back.
Really fun golf course
We have played the red course several times in the past and always enjoyed it. This time was the same. Despite the dry conditions in Phoenix, the red course is in quite good condition. It has a nice variety of holes from easy to difficult. There are a number of doglegs which makes play interesting. The greens are excellent.
Disappiinting
The Blue course is shorter and less imaginative than the Red course which we have played several times. The condition was only fair probably related to lack of rainfall.in the area. The lakes are almost devoid of water.
Great course conditions
Greens were smooth and quick. Will be back again soon.
wigwam gold
wigwam is istill a very well run golf facility. . the course was in great condition, our pace of play couldn't have been much better as my two-some finished the front 9 in just over and hour. the back slowed slightly, but we finished our round in 3 hours and a little bit. 2 beefs-the practice range with bumpy golf mats and lack of sand(little to none) in the traps. like hitting off dirt. we are in a desert, no? is there a shortage of sand? these courses have been getting "primo" prices over the past few months. hard to imagine it was a cost factor, but i'm not in management, so what do i know. over all, we had a really nice experience.
golf lady
The pace of play was great. The greens are a real challenge...made it fun! My only issue was the ice/water machine was broken. I really like starting out with a fresh cup of ice water, especially on a hot day.
Wigwam Blue
The course was in good shape greens were tricky, wonderful day with friends.
