Wigwam Resort - Red Course

The course had many trees down, but crews were taking care of the mess. Most of the trees were out of play and they had cleaned up the mess in the fairways and most of the rough. I only had one ball go into a downed tree and just took a free drop. The tees, fairways and greens were in great shape, the recent rains were great for the grass.

All three courses at Wigwam are very fun. Each has several deviously tough but fun holes. Stay in the fairways!

The red course was in great shape for mid July. Greens were flat and rolled true. The fairways had a few bare spots but did not ruin the experience at all. Planning to play there again next week.

Played Wigwam red today. Love the course. Haven’t played in a while and forgot how much fun the course can be. My main complaint is there are not enough water stations on the course. Only 1 concession stand after 9. It got to 112 today and we never saw the cart girl. Played with two other gentlemen and we were dying out there. It got so bad we had to go up the road in the cart to a park with a drinking fountain. When we finished 18 I went into the pro shop and let them know we never saw the cart girl. They told me she was out there and I kept telling them she never came by. Staff seem very nice but I think they are unaware. Would play again but please have the cart girl on the course when it is 112!

Got a great deal thru GN for a round on the Blue courses, on Memorial Day. When the Red course popped up on Hot Deals, I jumped on it. My son-in-law had played this track before, and we both had a great time on our round together. The course was nearly empty, so pace was not ever an issue. And Raqui, the young lady on the beverage cart, was especially nice. We started just after noon and moved along at a leisurely pace. Highly recommend this course, and any of the Wigwam layouts. These folks run a great show.

Course in great shape. Was slow pace on Red Course. Sat afternoon. Really like these courses. Friend staff, good place to play

Played the Red course on a beautiful day. No complaints. Pace of play was good, Conditions were excellent, Staff were friendly. Greens were rolling true. A Great Day for Golf.

Very nice courses, nice carts and good pace of play. We’ll be back to play another round very soon. Gracias to the cart girl and restaurant staff. Near perfect weather and a very happy Cinco de Mayo 🇲🇽

A non desert course with lots of grass. Greens were fantastic. Would highly recommend.
