About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Fairways were very nice
Greens were excellent
Will play there again
Immaculate Course
Glad to have booked and play this Red Course! Fairways were well manicured and the green were quick, just wished golfers would take care of their ball marks, plus 1 or 2 others. Marshall’s seem to be doing there job with checking in on players and ensuring pace of play. Always good to have a wide range of snakes and the turn. Overall, enjoyable to play. Can’t wait to play the Blue and/or Gold course
Course condition
The staff at the club house were real jerks holes the course was in good shape except for the the bunker's the sand was very hard
Great Shape
Blue course is in great shape for this time of the year. However, several of the green side bunkers could use a little more sand.
Overall good
For the peek season there were a few greens that had some damage that I had to putt thru. I had to hit balls out of divots on the driving range as it appeared that tees hadn’t been moved from the from the day before. (I played on a Sunday). When paying peak prices, I would expect to have grass to hit off of at the range. Overall course layout and conditions were good. I would play again
Absolutely Wonderful
My husband and I enjoyed playing wigwam gold course. The only challenge we had was the wind, but other than that we had a wonderful time. The course is maintained very well, the staff is friendly and courteous, and most helpful when we had questions on where things were. Highly recommend this course. We will definitely play it again.
Solid conditions, excessively FAST greens
Everything was great about wigwam, as usual, but the greens very excessively fast and pin locations were brutal - constantly on slants and ridges. I enjoy a challenge but this seemed unnecessary.
Dated Course
Played Gold course. Very boring old style course. Lots of deep bunkers and crowned greens. We were pared up with a women golfer. The women's tees were only five to ten yards ahead of the men's. Seemed unfair. The driving range had artificial mats. Not a good value for this time of year at this price.
Everything is so good, except for the fighter jets take off close to the golf course, very noisy.
Great Course
Great Layout! Fairways are Immaculate as well as the greens. By the way the Greens were quick. I enjoyed my whole experience!!
Now it’s time to try the Blue Course
