The Wigwam Arizona
About The Wigwam Arizona
Located in the West Valley near Phoenix-Scottsdale is one of Arizona's most historic golf resorts, Wigwam. Set on 440 acres, this village-style resort features three 18-hole golf courses, including two designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., most notably the famous Gold Course. The resort features 331 casitas and suites with large private patios and several resort pools, including a new 25-foot water slide tower. The resort-style golf courses are more parkland in nature than surrounding desert courses and feature palm trees and water hazards sprinkled throughout. There are four dining concepts, led by the signature Litchfield's Restaurant serving local farm-to-table cuisine, while there is Red's Bar & Grill for casual fare and the Wigwam Bar, which is the social epicenter of the resort. Recreation outside of the 54 holes of golf is nine lighted tennis course and two regulation bocce-ball courts, sand volleyball, bike rentals and yard games.Facts

Deano
Love this place, great course probably the best I’ve played yet on our trip, will definitely play the other courses as well.
Loved the Blue
Great track for beginning/Intermediate golfers with wide open, forgiving layout. Scoring is challenged by tiny, elevated and protected greens throughout. Course conditions were fantastic on a fairly blustery day where you are primarily hitting into or across
prevailing SW winds after the first few holes. There is a confusing spot where the Gold #18 overlaps the last couple Blue holes, but signage is good. Our twosome finished in just over 3hrs on a Friday.
Will look forward to trying the Red or Gold course next time!
Painfully slow
We played here two days prior and the pace of play was fine but today it was beyond painful. We were a twosome however it still should have been moving faster and the people in front of us should all have been playing off the most forward tees. However the real problem was we came across a group of 7 men playing together. Why a course like this would let this happen is beyond me. My opinion of the place has diminished. We were very disappointed..
Wigwam - Gold Course
Very challenging course. Greens were slopped and holes placed in slippery places.
Just enough water hazards and sand traps to add more difficulty to this course.
Fairways were plenty wide enough not to interfere with homes backing onto course.
Beware this is a long course so bring water.
Great course
Beautiful course. Well kept. Can’t wait to try their other courses!
We enjoyed this course.
We have enjoyed golfing here through golf now hot deals. I won’t pay their regular prices. Since Covid prices have become ridiculous.
We travelled a long way to get here and now I don’t see the value in it. But this course at least is nicely manicured and the beer inside is nice and cold. Many course on golf now are less than average but this one is nice comparably speaking and if they drop their prices I’ll golf here every day. Many tee times are open.
Beautiful course
Very happy with my visit. Had a great time playing and loved every minute enjoying this great conditioned course.
A great day
Tee time of 11 am with another couple. No players ahead of us, completed the round in just over 3 1/2 hrs.
Course us in great shape. No staff to offer to help with our bags to the car.
Great Course
This was my third time to play the Blue Course. Well maintained fairways and greens. Greens were fast and I liked that. I enjoy playing at the Wigwam and recommend this course and the Gold course also. I haven’t yet played the Red Course.
