Course conditions improved
Tubac Golf course has suffered a bit over the last few months due to a severe water shortage. Recent rains have certainly helped and the greens are now in good shape and fairways are seeing more grass. Reseeding of Anza is still underway but should be ready soon and then I believe they will close Otero for similar maintenance. Traps are in need good sand, but still it is a great layout.
Me encanta este campo
Es un lugar muy bueno para jugar, el Layout de la sección Rancho es la mejor.
Terrible conditions
Been coming out to Tubac since 1987. I live in Phoenix. This was the absolute worst condition I have ever seen the course in. Don’t tell me it’s the winter grass transition period. Way too many ares not only brown but just dirt. No grass at all. Now the brown grass areas and abundant dirt areas are now encroaching the areas of play. The rates continue to go higher and higher to stay at the resort each year and the golf course conditions get worse year after year. So disappointing!!!
Always fun to Play at Tubac to enjoy the scenery
We love to paly at Tubac a couple of times a year because it is a nostalgic and beautiful surroundings with a good place to dine as well. The course conditions are not great right now.
Poor course conditions
It's is sad to see the excellent course is such poor physical conditions. Looks like a lack of water and maintenance is the cause. On parts of some fairways there is no grass. Tee boxes are in very average shape. Greens are rock hard. The course condition is no better than a average public course. Sad.
Cost
This is a resort golf course. So, it is pricey. I only play it when Golf Now has a good deal. Sad, because it is so close to my home.
Greens in perfect condition.
We played Otero/Rancho. Both nines were in great shape, particularly the greens, which rolled fast and perfectly.
Great condition
Course in great condition. Different than many other Tucson courses, a lot of trees.
Tubac in May
Good course on an operating ranch. Lot of fun. Was in good condition. Enjoyed the day!!
Always a great experience
Course was in great shape with perfect conditions. Only drawback was a fivesome ahead of us playing in a "tournament". Played like it was the final round of the US Open. Two holes open ahead of them.
Admin check in process was indignant and claimed the course doesn’t make any money when you book through golf now
Won’t play again based on admin staff, course condition, pace of play and value.
Staff at check-in was not friendly or accomodatimg
Staff at check-in made me feel like I owed them something because I booked through golf now. Pace of play was terrible as no ranger existed and the 4 some in front of us was actually 2 players and one player getting a lesson. . We waited on 6 of 9 holes on the front and every hole on the back. Rather play the haven than this place ever again!
Also no water on corse and no ball washers. Used to be a favorite but no more
