Tubac Golf Resort & Spa

Core conditions have improved from several weeks ago. Greens are rolling well. Some issue with fringe around greenside trap on Anza 7. Seems they are keeping everything watered even during these very very hot days.

The only issue we had on Monday is that maintenance workers were soaking the greens while we were attempting to play. Those greens should be watered the night before or the early morning BEFORE golfers start playing. It's actually rude and unprofessional for Tubac course to have workers out while golfers are out.

I love this course. It is wide enough and open to keep you in play and you have to think about your shots off the tee.

I would say that the course is kinda confusing in terms of layout and driving it can get a little wonky at times.

Had played Anza and Otero in past ,but this was my 1st time playing Rancho and did not dissapoint. Ciurse waa great, some water puddles here and there, hot and humid day. Our foursome had a blast and lots of fun!

It was a nice day to play, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I were joined by a fun couple, and we had a lot of fun. It was also fun to see holes featured in Tin Cup, and we even watched the movie again that evening.

I like the layout of this course and the history. Staff is friendly and amenities are very clean. My only complaint would be the charge for spectator. Is very high. I have to remember to just pay for an extra player which is about the same price for spectator.

Staff was friendly and professional. Course was in great shape. Bathrooms was the only thing limited. But everything else was great.

Tubac Golf course has suffered a bit over the last few months due to a severe water shortage. Recent rains have certainly helped and the greens are now in good shape and fairways are seeing more grass. Reseeding of Anza is still underway but should be ready soon and then I believe they will close Otero for similar maintenance. Traps are in need good sand, but still it is a great layout.
