They call it viewpoint, you get some good views for sure! Photo submitted by danaswanson808 on 12/14/2019
Great day!
Played on 3/23, shotgun starts have stopped now. Paired with two nice gentlemen. Some of the white tee boxes need some work, fairways and greens in good shape, bunkers need sand. Pace of play 5hrs, maybe spread tee times out a bit? Beverage cart was around, staff was very nice! We like playing this course!
Very consistent greens. Course overall in great shape.
First time playing and enjoyed all aspects of the course. Never have payed for a round of "shotgun" start golf other than in a tournament and am not much of a fan of that format. Other than that, enjoyed the loop very much.
Great Course!
Played on 3/19, shotgun start at 1pm. Paired with two very fun gentlemen. Most tee boxes in good shape, white marker boxes need some help. Fairways had excellent turf, rough is a mix of grass and hard pack, greens were very fast and mostly in good shape, bunkers still need more sand. Pace of play was just a tad slow but then it was a great day and we all were having fun-played in 4hrs. We like this course because it’s fair value and right now it’s in really good shape. Beverage cart came around, inside/outside staff very nice.
Nice course
Nice course, not typical desert course.
Usually morning and afternoon shotgun starts.
Not easy to get a tee time.
Bad experience
Did not enjoy the last time we played Viewpoint.Started with a very unfriendly man who checked us in. Pace of play was awful! 5 hour round. Saw the beverage cart early in the round and never again. That wasn't because she was done for the day. We saw her many holes away on the front nine when we were on the back nine. On top of all that, we had friends from out of town who wanted to rent clubs but no rental clubs!
Nice course if you can get on
Usually a morning and afternoon shotgun start.
Can be a little slow.
Hard to get a tee time.
Vp
Semi exclusive manufactured homes neighborhood with golf privileges. Morning and afternoon shotgun tee times. Many walking players slowed play. Friendly course design for us senior golfers. Bar and restaurant very nice.
Decent course
Played on 2/6/2025, shotgun start at 1pm. Paired with two nice gentlemen and completed the round in just over 4hrs. The course is decent but definitely drying out a bit. Pin placement was brutal and greens were a bit fast but good condition! Bunkers are still mostly dirt and pebbles. The course gives you forgiveness and quite a few slight off fairway hits will roll to your favor onto the fairway, yay! If you don’t like shotgun starts then you’ll need to go elsewhere but it’s okay for us! Staff are friendly mostly and the beverage cart did come around.
Enjoyable round of golf
This was my second time playing Viewpoint. The shotgun start was new to me but no problem. The layout is pretty forgiving and the course was in really good condition. Pace of play was ok. Hated the pin placement on hole #8 though as it was on such a slope the ball would not stop near the hole at any pace.
Ok course in ok shape
Nearly every course in the valley needs more irrigation. Greens and fairways are thinly grassed.
