Course was in great shape even with all the rain recently

Because of the usual rainy season in Northern California, play was cart path only that I anticipated. However, the group before my group was 2-3 hole off pace after 3 holes. The staff marshal repeated asked that group to pick up the pace. However that seemed to slow them down more. After 12 holes the slow group finally let the groups behind them play through. Thank you to the staff, but this should not ever be allowed to happen. Waiting on essentially every whole can ruins a round of golf.

Great course condition and facilities, fun layout!

Customer Service one of the best part about playing here! From start to finish, Restaurant, halfway house, pro shop, started, course assistance everyone was very welcoming and made it for a pleasant round..

Second time playing here and each visit has been absolutely wonderful. Staff is friendly and professional, green is immaculate and in great condition, and the course doesn’t feel crowded or rushed even on the weekends. The only downside is that it’s far from the Bay Area and a bit hard to get to but it is absolutely worth the visit.

Make sure you get there early and advantage of their practice facilities.

I would have to say this is the nicest, non-coastal, course. For this day though I couldn't give it the full 5 stars. First, we got stuck behind some bozo's that showed up for their 12:20 tee time just as my group was getting the starter briefing for the 12:30 tee time. Slow going for the entire round. Second, they are doing fairway repairs so there are chunks of sod missing in various places. But it's good they are trying to keep the course up to its usual perfect condition. Other courses in the area don't come close to the condition of Yocha Dehe.

Seriously a very good tract to add to your wish list ! Lucky to have had nice weather and the course layout is fantastic !

Had the worst experience today at Yocha Dehe (12/24, 10:30 am tee time)

We were interrupted multiple times by Marshall "Roy" during our foursome round. We were asked multiple times to play faster and when in fact were playing at a 4 hour pace. But were still rushed and the constant interruptions really distracted our play. Wasted our day and money for the round.

Then on the 18th tee he mentions that were in fact not behind. Worst experience ever after 12 rounds here in the last few years. He did mention that he wished he could comp us a free round but just have us a divot tool and a ball marker which was nothing in place of this frustrating experience.
