PRO SHOP AND CART BARN STAFF WERE GREAT. VERY FRIENDLY. AFTER THE ROUND MY GROUP OF 8 WENT TO FISHERMANS LANDING AT ABOUT 12PM. WE WERE STANDING AROUND FOR ABOUT 10 MINUETS TRYING TO GET SEATED. 2 STAFF MEMEMBERS WALKED BY OUR GROUP AND DIDN'T SEAT US. FINALLY SOMEONE CAME AND WAS NOT RUDE BUT ALSO WAS NOT FRIENDLY. HE SAT US DOWN GAVE US MENUS THEN WALKED AWAY QUICK BEFORE WE PLACED A DRINK ORDER. COUPLE MINUETS LATER HE CAME BACK AND TOOK OUR DRINK ORDER BUT TOOK A WHILE TO CHECK IN WITH US AGAIN. WE WANTED TO ORDER FOOD BUT HE WAS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. FINALLY COMES BACK BUT HE TOOK SO LONG WE HAD ALREADY DECIDED TO GET FOOD SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE WE THOUGHT THE FOOD WOULD TAKE FOREVER TO COME OUT IF THE SERVICE TO JUST GET ANOTHER DRINK WAS TAKING LONG. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT FISHERMAN'S LANDING

Good course with decent course conditions (every other course we played during our stay in PS the greens and fairways were a little patchy). Some holes relatively similar but some of the holes are very entertaining. 17th is superb in its layout and in spite of it being only 310 yards still gets you thinking.

Would definitely recommend. Only issue was the lack of starter hit availability (off season). Free range balls prior to round and free waters were a real addition

High temperature over 100F keeps people indoors. I was able to play 18 holes in 2-1/2 hours. Plenty of cold water on course. Greens are in good condition. Some course maintenance underway outside peak season. Be sure to get your parking validated.

Been playing this course for 25 years. Very nostalgic course for me. If you can handle the summer heat then $49 for this course is amazing! 🤩 play it multiple times a year when on vacation.

Finally got to play the Valley side. It is more wide open and forgivable than the Palm. Course was in great shape considering it was summer. The only issue was the rough is so high (3'-4") it was hard to find the ball most of the day. Would play again! Great value

First people working on the course are not friendly people. Second the golf course directions are not marked properly. Third the cart are not clean and never put a score card on the cart.

Played this course many times has always been an excellent experience. The greens are in poor condition and very disappointing, the rest of the course is in very good condition. I would not drive an hour to play this course in its current condition.

I have played the Desert Springs multiple times over the years and sadly the conditions were so terrible they were almost unplayable.

The greens were in the worst shape. There were dead spots and bumps everywhere. They had not been mowed or rolled in some time.

On the fringes of the greens there were several chunks of grass taken out.

The poor green conditions all lead to a awful round experience.

Almost half of the green surface was dirt without grass.

Got impression that they simply don't bother to maintain the green during summer

Dead turf everywhere, slow greens full of POA.

Beautiful layout, smooth greens, plush fairways.

Played in 100 degree with a little wind, wasn't bad. Played in 2 hrs 25 min. Took my time ,great round.

Unbelievably terrible and unacceptable conditions for a $100+ “resort” course. Dry patches on nearly every fairway; splotchy dry/dirt patches near greens; and terrible greens. In fact, after the second hole, I stopped putting altogether. Much worse than the worst mini courses in LA that charge half as much. The staff was very helpful. But hard to appreciate them after experiencing the course, kind of like one would feel about a waiter who knowingly served you a leather tough steak for $100.

I've played this course for years and was pretty disappointed in the poor conditions of the greens. The starter and club guys were great though and always are. We played the palms 5/24/26 and I was shocked, as the conditions have always been amazing, but the greens were bumpy and dying. Not sure why, but I hope it's better next time I'm out there.
