GREAT COURSE
A+ EXPERIENCE, I HAD 3 FRIENDS VISITING FROM OUT OF TOWN EVERYONE SAID IT WAS THE BEST COURSE THEY PLAYED THIS YEAR.
A GREAT BARAGIN THROUGH GOLFNOW
THANKS
JOE WATERS
Great condition
After getting rained out last time after 9 we were looking forward to playing again. The course was in awesome shape and more gorgeous than ever. What drought? Lush and green as could be. One of my favorite rounds ever and I have played some great tracks. We played on a Wednesday and there were maybe 20 people on the course. Very highly recommended!! DB
Always a treat
The course isn't long by any means, but it forces you to be a shot maker and that's where the difficulty comes into play. My struggle here is out of the rough which is "sticky" and your ball rests on top of 4inch plus thick rough. Enjoy your round
Great day of golf!
We thoroughly enjoyed our golf round at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. We arrived early for our 12:30 tee time and after hitting some balls at the range, the starter allowed us to start early. We played the round in about 3.5 hours. This is a beautiful course with gorgeous vistas. It was well worth the trip to Ojai. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great day of golf!
George C Thomas jewel in Ojai
My friends and I love this facility . The Inn , the spa , the restaurants , the staff and the golf are all excellent in one of America ' s most beautiful settings .
It was hot , but we knew it would be . We live nearby .
The only negative the whole day was we never saw a beverage cart the entire front nine . We had gone thru the complimentary waters provided and were thirsty by the 5th / 6th hole .
Meantime , the long time starter at the course is Jim .
He is a gentlemen . Always good to see him .
beautiful resort and course
first time playing ojai and loved it!!! staff was super friendly and encouraged us to start earlier than our tee time so we could have a faster round.
loved the course. in beautiful shape. the greens were immaculate and consistent.
can't wait to go back!
Course in great shape!
First time playing track, and going back soon! Everything about course was great. We played on an off day I think, so course was empty.
Nice Course Slow Pace
Nice resort course in excellent condition . Very busy though and not easy to walk , even from cart path to area around greens . Old guys in front three groups deep on 5 hour plus pace . Left after nine . Will try againbut not on weekend.
Great course even on a bad day!
Our foursome thanks to golf now, was able to enjoy a round of golf at Ojai Valley Inn without breaking the bank. (What a savings) Fairways and greens were in great shape, pace of play was 4.15. We have to thank the ojai golf staff members that stocked ice box with apples. Great idea on warm day, the apples were cold, crisp and sweet. If you're a nature lover you'll enjoy the deer, grazing as you hit your shot too the greens. So beautiful can't wait until next visit to Ojai Valley inn.
Smoothie....
Hidden Gem
If you have never played golf at the Ojai Valley Inn you are missing out. The greens were in great shape, the fairways were awesome. We played 18 holes in 3 and a half hours and had a great time. I can't wait to go back.
High expectations for resort golf
It was just ok, a little bit of build up driving an hour plus to play.
Greens were great, pretty extreme false fronts on a few - really false fronts.
Beware of dozens of range balls on #1 and #9 fairways from the range - kind of ridiculous.
Replay was more than reasonable - $17 for 18 which I did in under two hours.
Great course, challenging!!
Definitely a course that I will play again and again with a discounted price!! Must know where to hit to place a shot to the green. Greens were true and receptive. Overall just a great course!
Beautiful course
Everything was excellent. The course was in great condition. The staff was great. The driving range was excellent. All the facilities were superb. It was nice to have the ice cold apples as well.
Impressed
Golf Now sent me a 50% off my next round coupon so I used it for the Ojai Valley course I paid $40.00
I had a 12:30 tee time so I got to the course at 11am
to warm up and used the included range balls, but the starter said that if I was ready to play I could tee off right away as a golf party of 20 were just about to tee off. I said yes of course and went right to the first tee with no warm up. Played the front 9 in less than 1 1/2 hour's with several groups letting me play through.
The 10th hole had several foursomes waiting but they to let me play through.
The course was fun to play with the front 9 a little harder as there were some forced carries and extreme doglegs. Greens and fairways were in wonderful condition and I shot my best round ever a 85. Everyone was very friendly and will play this course again and again.
Ojai or Spyglass, tough call..............
This was our come-down course after playing Spyglass last week. Still need to come-down since this course was equally as nice, minus the ocean view. Played for 60 bucks with a cart from golf now so an unbelievable deal for a course of this caliber. Facilities are a cross between the Bacara in Santa Barbara and La Quinta. The carts are hi-tech, the course was in awesome shape and we had awesome weather to boot. If I had to choose between Spyglass for $450 or Ojai Valley for $60, I would take Ojai anyway. This place is a treat so enjoy yourself............
Great, fun golf course. Superb facility.
Lovely, fun and challenging golf course. Beautiful scenery, great course design. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great restaurant.
Great Course
Wonderful course. Beautiful holes, beautiful trees, modest crowd. Just delightful.
Unless you are a pro, play from the White Tees
Amazing course: well kept fairways, doable rough grass, manicured greens. Also beautiful grounds, great views, and the service is great. At the Inn, you are a guest, even when you're just playing golf. The course is challenging, but not crazy hard. Just don't make the mistake we made: If you are hitting 90s or greater, and want to keep it like that, play from the Whites. The Blue tees are for PGA Tour players. It not only adds more distance, but all sorts of difficulty to the tee shot.
Always a Great Day at Ojai Valley Inn
Life enjoyment system when you are at Ojai Valley Inn. Course is amazing and always challenging.
Course is always in excellant condition, offering challenging holes.
Course was in excellent condition. Staff very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Taking a cart is definitely the way to go. Very hilly.
