Bad day for a great course
a truly great course. the only issue was that they were aerating the greens--they were punched and sandy. would have been nice if had been notified.
great wildlife accompanied the round--saw a hawk up close and a turtle walking the cart path.
The green fees has increased significantly from last year
As mentioned above, the green fees have increased significantly from 2023, however, the course condition remains the same. The cart path is in high need of repairs. The greens are excellent but , the fairways are in some places brown. I was really surprised to see because of the significant rainfall we had in Southern California.
Challenging and gorgeous for a course around the area.
I don’t know of a much better looking course than Babe & Ike that’s available around these parts. Well worth the money for such a nice course design. Very challenging yet fun to play if you’re up for a bit off target golf (Babe). Ike is great for the wider course layout. Can’t say much about the greens this time around because of they were aerated. I love this course and I continue to come back to it over and over again, for the beautiful layout and the challenge.
Uniquely layout
Hilly golf course with a lot of unique shots, a lot of picturesque shots really enjoy the layout.
Pace of play is dreadful
5 hour round on a Tuesday afternoon. We called a pro shop about two foursomes in front of us that joined up and played as an 8some constantly and they did nothing. Waiting on every single shot for 18 holes.
Ike always delivers
The "Ike" is a superb test for even the most skilled player. The course was in great shape.
Overrated and don't go single.
I booked thru Golf Now. Played the Ike. I have been playing here for a while now as I live around the corner. I remember being able to play single and get my own cart but now they have new rule that they no longer let singles on their own cart. So, I got put with a 3 some. 2 of the golfers where beginners and made for a super long day. Marshalls were pressing us starting the 3rd hole, but it wasn't even us it was the group in front of them. Grass is very thick, so you lose balls right away if you don't hit the fairway. The greens had divots all over the place. Then to top it off 3 out of each 9 where cart path only which will cause some backups as well. I will never play here as a single moving forward. This place was and use to be the SGV Gem but not anymore.
Always a quality outing at Industry Hills
The Ike was it's regular brutal self. 6800 yards from the blue tees is an awesome test. You feel like you're playing a true big boy course when you play there. Make sure the long irons and woods are on point if you want to survive. Looking forward to coming back.
Great course and staff.. absolute worst pace management.
2nd time playing here.. 1st was on my bday last year (whole ‘nother story)
Yesterday, starter was kind enough to allow me to play ahead of my tee time; maybe there was a gap so he was gracious to let me into the tee box early
I thought pace of play was ok for me being a single until I got to #7.. somehow the pace slowed down drastically.. group ahead of me (4some) was taking slower than usual… so I didn’t think anything of it. By the time I got to #11.. I couldn’t bear the pace anymore so I asked group if I could skip and they were ok with it.. Come to find out.. 2 groups ahead, there was a group of 4 that was also playing with a group of 8 ahead of them. Yes that’s not an exaggeration. A group of EIGHT. They were all hanging out in the tee box just chatting away with no one ahead of them. I got on tee box @ 12:40pm, left hole #11 @ 4:42pm.
NEVER AGAIN. waste of time and green fees.
Can't beat the price
Golf course was in good shape, however, there were many spots on the fairways and rough that were wet or muddy due to the abundant rain from previous weeks. Bunkers were hit or miss with numerous bunkers having barely any sand.
The pin placements today were quite unfair with them being 4 paces from edges or atop an area where there is a bowl or hill with heavy break.
For the price, this was cheaper and more of a value than many of the courses in the Inland Empire who are charging $100+ for a weekend morning round.
