Pacific Palms Resort
About Pacific Palms Resort
Pacific Palms Resort is billed as "LA's hilltop hideaway", the only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County. The setting of the 292-room hotel and two golf courses by William F. Bell and Casey O'Callaghan is set against the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Live music and jazz sets the mood at the Red Restaurant and Bar. The Industry Hills Golf Club's Eisenhower and Zaharias courses have been upgraded over the years with new turf and infrastructure, but their historical layouts remain unchanged.Facts

Avoid
If you’re a better player player you may wish to avoid this track. Slow play is an understatement my round was over 5.5 hours. When talking to head professional he was not apologetic but instead stated I should have expected 5-5.5 hours. That’s ridiculous and if that’s their average play time, their definitely doing something wrong.. The course layout is good but many of the bunkers were just dirt no sand. Teeing grounds were horrible often no grass. Mounds of freshly mowed grass piled everywhere in the rough. This is definitely a course that has seen a better days.
Staff could be friendlier
Pace is slow and no marshall. Players confused whose turn it is to go out. Seems like the course overbooks.
They booked same tee time twice. The staff in golf shop always seem like they dont want to be working
Can’t stand when golf shops are not that welcoming yet charging a overpriced rate for the experience.
Amazing Course!
The Ike course will challenge your game. The scenery is amazing and the course was in outstanding condition. The staff was friendly and professional. Can't wait to play this course again. Looking forward to playing the Babe course as well. Thank you!
Over price for twilight
I think it’s a little too much $ for 2pm
I almost didn’t finish
Nice view and nice field
Great shape - 5:20 minute round
Tee was 20 minutes behind schedule and a 5:20 round.
Requires a starter on the box to get people moving - was a sh*tshow with 3 groups jammed on the tee (all related)
Great shape
Love this course
Awesome course!! Has everything you need to have a great day of golf!!
It was ok
Pro shop manager was rude
Course was in bad shape.
All bunkers were mud
Tree pines all over course not cleaned up
Golf carts are old
Very tight golf course
The Babe course is not very long, but you have to be very accurate and know which side of the fairway to play from. The greens are large with lots of undulations and putt slower than they look. This was my first time playing so I was not sure where to hit it and found myself out of position quite a bit. I would like to go back and play again so I would recommend it.
There was no a marshal to control the pace. I have to play with slow players in the front group, causing our group waiting every hole, and another group that pushed our group behind.
And staff who distributed the cart keys should know at least "greeting" to the players.
