The ranch-style Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook is just minutes away from Temecula wine country. All 132 rooms have either been renovated or will be soon. A heated outdoor pool, four lighted tennis courts and fitness room are available to guests. The golf course starts out narrow but gets more scenic with more elevation changes later in the round.Facts

Why would you not??
What a fun place—- a creative short track where the course flows beautiful along the hillside. Views for days and greens with character keep your attention while making your way around this enchanting facility. The staff was pleasant and attentive, the location is super convenient being right off the freeway, and most of all— it was worth the money!!
Being on the east side of the hills I suggest an earlier tee time to catch the sun coming up over the mountains in the distance , which really adds a depth and character to this already awesome place!! But either way—— you’re in for treat!

Nice Course
The course is in great shape. I had a problem with my cart, but they sent out another one. We continued our round without incident. I didn't play as well as I should have, but that was entirely my fault. The pace of play could have been a little better. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day.

Handled the recent rains well.
Overall after record rainfall the course has held up very well. The fairways and rough were a little shaggy but the crew hasn’t had many opportunities for mowing. The bunkers while a bit damp were still in great shape and played very well.

Best condition I've seen here (except for the tees)
Tee boxes need to be bulldozed, other than that, the rest of the course is in the best condition since I first played here in 1989. Greens are absolutely perfect, although I'd hate to play here all the time, because my 3-putt% d skyrocket! On the expensive side, but for a sunny Sunday, my son and I enjoyed our round.

Great Value
The area is dealing with a ton of rain. Course was quite wet but playable. It is a great layout. Very scenic. Course is tight in places, but fair. I would definitely recommend going.

It had rained a lot lately so the course was soft. It’s a fairly narrow course so you need to hit it straight. We enjoyed the back 9 more than the front. Decent value for the money. Would play again.

Impecable Green Rollinghills
It truly made me have a new outlook on golf. For the price, it’s an amazing impeccable course, great views, and greens are challenging but so fun. Green Rollinghills make you feel like you’re in a fairytale.

Pala Mesa - Excellent After Rains - Carts Not So
My father, brother and I played a round together. We've played course many times over the years. One of the best conditioned courses around after heavy rains. It drains exceptionally well.
Weather, course conditions and tempo of play was ideal. However, could not get over the fact the golf carts are in really sad and poor shape. Mine made so much noise, had to trade it in for another at the turn only to realize in middle of 10th hole, the GPS wasn't functioning properly. Heard they are getting new carts, that would be a good thing!
