Very well maintained
Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape as always.
Great course in very good condition.
It was my first time playing Pala Mesa and was impressed with the courses condition. Greens and t boxes were in great shape.
Con was several holes had irrigation hoses on the fairways. Sprinklers were also on several of the holes fairways while I was playing. I did not get wet, but needed to drive in the cart around to avoid getting wet.
Staff was courteous and helpful in the pro shop and lunch kitchen.
Great value through Golfpass.

Over all
Big improvements over last several years. Fairways in great shape, roughs penalizing, traps consistent, and greens smooth and running about 9. Pace of play @ 1:00: 3.75hrs.
Excellent!
Pala Mesa is a very challenging course in great shape. Bring your A game to hit tight fairways, miss many sand traps, putt on tricky greens and stay out iof trouble. The staff is very friendly especially Evan and Sonny!
Great Round
I had a very enjoyable round. Course was in great condition.

Played there for the first time. Good course and reasonably priced.

Very playable course in good condition A little far from
Civilization. Good wine country. Enjoyed the course.
Hidden gem
I love playing this course. Great layout really fun course to play. Not extremely challenging but really fun and wide open with some great doglegs. The woman who works at the snack bar is my favorite of all time. Extremely warm, friendly and always has a contagious smile. Pala casino purchased it and is really making headway in upkeep of the course.
Excellent Condition
I haven't played this course in years; however, I was impressed on how well it was maintained, nice carts, and overall condition.
No Marshall
There was a very slow group and it took us 30 minutes to play the first two holes. We didn’t get to finish our round because of this.
Fun course in great shap
I’ve played Pala Mesa many times, but this was the first in almost two years. It’s as pretty as ever, and fun and challenging. I lucked out and played as a single on a slow Wednesday morning. Finished in 3 hours. Affordable green fees, too.
Challenging course at times with doglegs and 500 yd par 5’s. Only lost balls on frustrating #11.
Snack shop is good, and their restaurant and bar are fantastic!
Planning to play again next week.
