$120 ALL DAY?!
Why are you charging $120 all day every day all the way up to Sunset? I used to play every week here. No more. You are not Arrowood. You do not get to charge that much especially for every single time slot. Another good course ruined by greed and ignorance.
Too expensive
This course is fun and I would love to play. I use to play more often when the price was reasonable now it’s too expensive too play. Since the rates went up I’ve only played once. It’s a shame being that it’s the one closest to my house but there other course near by that are just as good at a 1/3 of the price.
Slow Play
WE played behind a Juniors folg tornament. Play was very slow due to the tournament. We were not advised of the tournament and would of played somewhere else. Very frusturaing slow play, the first par 3 we aited 30 minutes to tee off. Whole round took 6 hours.
too pricey
the course is in great shape. but it's too expensive, esp. considering who owns it. they have tons of money yet charge too much. will only play on rare occasions. other choices nearby.
Expensive
The course conditions were good, but I don’t think it’s worth $90 on a weekday. Maybe for $60 I’d be interested in playing again.
Bit overpriced
First of all, the pro shop staff was very friendly. The course is tight for the first 3 holes. Back 9 definitely has more character to it. I am visiting from Michigan and we can play far better courses for the price of this one. Some of the bunkers had mud and no sand. Tee boxes not maintained. Hopefully the new management under the casino will work on it.
pala mesa
nice course. lots of slope. bit pricey. should be no more than $75, esp given the wealthy ownership. need a marshal on course. there were 7 yahoos playing together who teed off as a four and three and then combined. not good.
Great Outing!
A fun layout with some tight fairways and some that are pretty open. Overall fun course layout. Course was in great shape. Tee boxes, greens, fairways, rough and sand were all great. A little expensive but I would recommend and would definitely go back. Played on Sunday at 10:00 - great pace of play.
Lower the price. You haven’t done anything
I would play here entry week but now they are priced like Arrowood. You are not Arrowood. Get back to normal pricing and I will return.
Getting back to resort status
New carts with gps. Good greens. Fairway and tee boxes coming back very nicely. Everyday value for green fees need to come down to make this course a regular rotation. Otherwise highly recommend this course.
Decent course but ridiculously fast greens
The course was decent but the greens were like putting on a hardwood floor. I like fast greens but i don’t like my ball almost stopping at the cup only to continue 15 feet past. Some holes had my ball coming to a stop near the cup and then rolling back. There are better courses near by for a better price.
No ball cleaners, no spike cleaners, lackadaisical staff, crappy range balls, no cart drink service, one water cooler on each side, both empty...
Pristine course
I’ve seen some pretty rough reviews. This must have been before the casino took ownership. The casino has put in lots of money into improving the course. They drilled two new wells so the watering is great and it shows by how lush the course is. The sand traps are filled with new sand. The staff was extremely helpful. The course layout is fair. The first three holes are tight, but the rest of the course opens up. The greens are in great shape all be it fast. I’m scheduled to play there later this week.
