The ranch-style Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook is just minutes away from Temecula wine country. All 132 rooms have either been renovated or will be soon. A heated outdoor pool, four lighted tennis courts and fitness room are available to guests. The golf course starts out narrow but gets more scenic with more elevation changes later in the round.Facts

Course is getting better
I’ve played here several times and the course is getting better each time. Currently placing new sand in the sand traps.

Good Greens Mediocre Course
Conditions were poor, but the greens were in great condition which makes up for a lot. Bit of a funky layout to protect the course being short. Staff was super friendly and for $50 it did the trick but would not pay anymore then that.

Decent course- would play again
Course conditions and layout were pretty good.
Not super plush but decent. Greens were excellent though.

Def not worth the high green fee…
Conditions are horrible. GPS is not included with no yardage markers on the course. Very slow play, horrible fairway and tee box conditions. Definitely not worth the 120$ geeen fee. Avoid

Not Worth It
Fast round because the course was empty. The course was empty because it's in the middle of no where in the desert heat priced at over $100 a round with muni conditions.

Pala Mesa
Challenging course, not a lot of bail out right or left. Loved the pace of play. For that alone, we will play again! The salmon tacos in the restaurant are really good!

AVOID
Whereas the back nine is fine, the front nine is in TERRIBLE shape. Every fairway on the front has LARGE areas where the grass is completely gone and the greens aren't much better.

Challenging, Tight Course.
Course was in good condition and greens rolled fairly true. Keep the ball in the fairway to avoid awkward second shots. Challenging course due to narrow fairways.

It’s a $30-45 course to play with bunkers in terrible conditions.
