A heated outdoor pool, four lighted tennis courts and fitness room are available to guests. The golf course starts out narrow but gets more scenic with more elevation changes later in the round.Facts

Course was in great shape for public course
Employees helpful and friendly! From the pro shop to the cart barn they were respectful and courteous.
Great course
I was on vacation in Temecula, Ca and was looking for courses to play. I strongly recommend this course the conditions were great. The only thing that I experienced was the pace of play on the back 9 was slower than I am used to, but overall this is a course I would recommend if you are in the area.

Play the back 9 twice
Let me start off by saying what a nice back 9. Still needs some work, but it is a really nice layout. The front 9 is a local muni course at best. Conditions were not good. Fairway isn’t a fairway, and rough is inconsistent with grass. The rate they are charging is not even close to being in line with the course conditions. Better courses in the area to play for less money.
Could not agree more with this review! Played on Saturday and felt the exact same way. Not to mention there was a group of five playing in front of us.

Alright if you can get a deal
Not worth $90, if you can get a deal it’s okay. Scenery is nice, layout is good. Greens are fine, fairways aren’t great, burnt out in spots, lot of bare spots where holes overlap,

Older course but with new Owners
Pala is an older course but with new owners who are just starting to do improvements to the facilities and course. Overall layout is good, with a few challenging holes, but very playable. Tee boxes, greens and sand traps all need to be replaced if they want to bring the course to top level. Pro-Shop was under renovation now but still functional, Staff were friendly and accommodating. Charging $90 (Online midweek rate) per round is a bit pricy for the overall condition of the course today, but once all improvements are completed will be a good value.

Great Course
The course was in good condition and the greens were excellent. We teed off at 8:10 and finished by noon so pace of play way great. The course layout is great and I recommend this course to everyone

Ok course
Wanted to play here for awhile. Course was ok at best. Definitely not worth the cost. Driving range was pretty bad. Warm up green/ chipping green was fair. I would not play here again.

Slow greens
Greens were slow. They used to be fast. Prices are way too expensive for quality of course. The driving range mats are a total joke. Now they have a hodgepodge of carts. I use to love the course after 30 years I'm done.

Not there yet
The fairways should be in better shape after all the rain this winter. They are still spotty and seem to need seed.
Greens are OK.
Facilities have not been upgraded for over 20 years. the restaurant was supposed to be remodeled 5 years ago but nothing has happened..

Pala Mesa has come a long way
Such a great course and like most courses it went to terrible shape due to covid. Well all that's changed, the course is in GREAT shape and I cannot say enough good things about the staff.
